After years of dealing with me rescuing every dog or cat I came across, my parents thought it would be a good idea to allow me to have one of my own and we adopted a rescue - Molly. So at the age of nine the spark was born and my love of animals was kicked into high gear. In my teen years I volunteered at the Vancouver SPCA and realized how much I enjoyed walking and caring for dogs and cats. Afte

r working various office jobs I came to work for one of Vancouver’s top dog walking companies and realized where my future lay. After 4 amazing years I decide to strike out on my own and Running Rover was born. I still can't believe that I actually get paid to do this. It never feels like work and I always have fun meeting new pets and getting to know each and every one of their personalities. If you asked me what the hardest part of my job is, I would say that it's when I have to say goodbye to the pets after pet sitting because I get so attached!
