There is a massive difference between someone who socialises your dogs on a pack walk or walks your dog to an actual dog trainer.

This is about the 7th client of mine who wasted there money with trainers who can’t do there job 🤦🏻‍♂️

Advertise your a dog walker. Not a dog trainer.

i really don’t want to have to name and shame these people. But trust me I see you.. and there’s a few of you 👀

Deborah May Booked A 10 Hour Session To Help With Some Issues With Her Beautiful Dog Roxie
A long list of issues to solve but My Main Concerns To Takle Were the lead pulling & Reactivity to pretty much every dog she saw 🤦🏻‍♂️

We are 5 Hours in & Have Corrected Roxie Lead Pulling & Have tackled The Dog Reactivity 😁👏🏽

You Should Be Very Proud Of The Work You Have Put In Outside The Sessions. Hard work really does pay off 😁👏🏽

My client text me this morning so happy 😀 as there is a couple dogs who Roxie does not like!

NOT A SINGLE BARK, GROWL, PULL OR LUNGE as Roxie has passed Them On Her Morning Walking over the last couple of days 😁😁👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

There is only so much I can do within a session.. it’s what you ladies and gents do outside the sessions that counts!! & Deborah has shown hard work and dedication really does work 👏🏽👏🏽

Question..

Why do a good 75% of you think it’s ok to just stroke a dog or put your hand out to stroke a dog without asking the owner or confirming with the owner?

This is down to friends and family aswell..

If I say on Thursday at 18.46 yeah u can stroke her.

That doesn’t mean now on Friday you still got that free pass 🤷‍♂️

So apparently I’m “IRRESPONSIBLE” because my mastiff. (CHANEL) Diamonds mum. Is walking in a “SIDE” position from marks farm Tesco back towards rugby club off lead 🤷‍♂️. Anyway.. come across this guy in the alley with his old dog. 12 yrs old. On lead. But he might aswell not be as the dog was a good 3 metre in front of his owner.. as I don’t know how this dog is I have held Chanel by her collar as I am walking.. not one growl from Chanel. Not one bark, not one lunge. This guy said “what’s that?” Her names Chanel she is a mastiff.. he said “Oh you never know with these XL Bullies HE looks like an XL 🤔🙄 Does she look like a XL to you? This Guy Said.. “ I Don’t Really Know What XLs Look Like”. 🤦🏻‍♂️ in my head I’m saying to myself.. So You Comment On Things you don’t know? That’s just bizarre to me in itself, Anyway.. I Said “no mate She is a mastiff. He stares at Chanel for 5 seconds. And says.. HE looks versatile, Then walks towards her with his hand out ready to put his hands in her face. Me being the pack leader and showing Chanel I’m in control of every situation I put her in, I have pulled Chanel back. Stepped in front of Chanel. And told the man “NOOO, you should know better.. being a dog owner you should know to ask if it’s ok to stroke a dog, I then told the man, How Would you like it if I put my hand in your face right now? You wouldn’t like it would you.. he responded with “Well she should be on a lead anyway”. At that point in time. The conversation for me is DONE! so your gonna swerve my question.. ignore your wrong doing with no apology. And then try tell me I’m wrong because my dog should be on lead.. when she was fully under control next to my ankle!

If You See Me. with a dog. Ask. And don’t feel I’m being rude when I most likely tell you no sorry.

and do not ask me why, cos the last time I checked. NO means NO. And doesn’t warrant an explanation.

Everyone Meet Benji 😍🐾 So Benji Come In For An Assessment Yesterday As The Owner Had A Few Concerns Regarding His Reactivity & Being Nervous. After A Good Old Chat & An Observation Of Benji, I Found He Is Very Nervous Around People He Dont Know & Doesn’t Like Loud Sounds. & Is A Little Dog Reactive… I Slowly Built My Trust With Benji, Showed Him There Is Nothing To Worry About & Approached The First Person I See With A Dog. I Reassured Benji & Made It Known By My Confidence & How Relaxed I Was That He Is In Safe Hands. A Few Corrections Were Made On The Lead But Overall Benji Did Well & Didn’t React As Much As I Expected.. The Rest Of The Session I Approached Other Owners & Corrected & Praised Benji When Needed..
