***IMPORTANT UPDATE***

Starting from tomorrow our Saturday morning appointment service between 8.30am and 12pm will be moved to Lawrie Vets, Williamson Street, Falkirk, FK1 1PR.

This change in service provision will help to support our team and allow us to provide an improved service for your pet's care. Appointments can still be arranged directly with the Ashbank reception team on 01324 623359.

This is Rory, he was in to get some dental treatment after he broke his tooth whilst having fun on his walk!

Good news about our Bo’ness branch 🥳

Active as of Thursday this week, we will be open from 1pm until 3pm on Mondays and Thursdays for appointments and prescription collection.

This will be subject to staffing so please contact the practice beforehand to arrange any collections.

Our Kilsyth branch is back open as of tomorrow Tuesday 10th.
We are open 9am till 5pm, closing for lunch at 12pm till 1pm.

Lily poisoning in cats 🐱💐

Meet Jinx and Ekko, they came in to visit us in the practice after taking unwell due to exposure to lilies in their home.

Most lilies can be extremely toxic to cats, whether they ingest them directly or rub their coats against them before cleaning themselves, they can have detrimental effects on our furry babies.

Some signs of lily toxicity in cats can include;
Vomiting
Excessive drooling
Drinking/urinating more
Loss of appetite
Seizures

If you suspect your cat has been exposed to lilies, you should get in touch with your veterinary practice immediately.

Both Jinx and Ekko have recovered well thanks to their owners bringing them in so promptly 😊

Denise started working with Ashbank as a receptionist in January this year.

She loves animals and is well known for stealing the odd puppy when possible 😉 She will always return them after cuddles though 🐶

Sarah joined the Ashbank Team in April as an administrator after working in Education for 13 years.

She recently became the Practice Manager in October and is loving the fast paced environment that it brings.

In her spare time, she enjoys working with her Clydesdale with her 2 daughters and boating on Loch Lomond with her family.

Meet our newest addition to our Veterinary team, Alexia.

🩺 Alexia has recently qualified from Glasgow University Vet School and joined our team in August.

🌟 She's hoping to pursue further certification in small animal surgery in the future along with conservation work.

🐶 On her days off you can find Alexia out in the hills or rock climbing with her dog Tali.
