A follower of the Hotel had some Whiskers food with the code that we showed previously. When she contacted the manufacturer they confirmed that it is the code that is for factory use only, and not the food, and the pouches are safe to use 😺

I have been made aware that some packs of Whiskers have been found with this code on the back and should not have left the factory. Check your packs and contact the manufacturer with photos and the codes from the box if you find any like this 😺

We have done the maths, and unfortunately we are having to increase our prices. Cat food, cat litter and disinfectant have all increased in price by 20% and we have absorbed these increased costs, but the new electricity costs are too high for us to carry. The alternative is to reduce the temperature of our rooms, wash the bedding at lower temperatures, which is not so hygienic, reduce bedding so there is less in the tumble dryer during the winter months or have less fans running during the summer. None of these is an acceptable solution to us, as our guests comfort and safety are paramount. We will still absorb some costs and have decided to increase our prices by £1.50 per day (approx 10%) from 1st December 2022. This is only the second increase in 6 years. We hope that the families of our wonderful guests will understand why we have had to make this difficult decision.
