The police on site have been strict and rough inspecting the dogs, but we are thankful they have been released. Our priority is to get good nutrition and trusted vets to care for them until this time ends. It is an absolute miracle that this truck of stolen dogs (mainly pedigree) was saved—huge thanks to our China team and brave activists. Every involved is a volunteer risking their lives and freedom. For the last week, we have reported about Yulin. We have shown you the markets daily with dead dogs. We have seen over 300 restaurants. Our team went to the neighbouring areas and found live-kill places. We also uncovered dozens of dog farms and farms where they kill puppies. Every village is breeding for meat - on a small or larger scale. Now we are back in the centre of Yulin. It is on 18 June. Vans are collecting small dogs. There are cats too. The atmosphere at Dongkou and Qianonan Market is tense. The police and security guards are everywhere. But they are not there to stop the killing. They jostle and push anyone who wants to film. Our small team are Chinese. We are defiantly wearing our NoToDogMeat shirts. We need help to get our footage to all media. We also continue to rescue. When we thought we were broken by all we have witnessed to date, the public demonic feeding frenzy will begin. Pray for our team. Pray for the dogs. Speak Out, friends. Sad, sad news despite all the happy waggy tails. This video was taken just hours before the authorities raided our ' secret' Beijing shelter and kicked us out. We tried our best with the media, but it did not work. Our lovely shelter we built from scratch behind a fruit a vegetable market will be smashed down. Anna built this to give refuge to so many lovely dogs and cats thrown out at the start of the pandemic. All the dogs we saved in the last two years from dog meat markets are there, and so are some of the Yulin21 survivors. We made a playground and comfortable pens for them all. We had toys, blankets and beds, and now we have to flee with what we can carry. No one has slept for the last two nights as we have frantically been searching for somewhere nearby. The clock is ticking, and if dogs are not moved by the morning, they will be confiscated. We are raising funds to pay for transport and new rents. No choice but to start again. They are blaming Covid, but we also know the Yulin Dog Meat Festival round-ups have started. Crying as we write this, but what can we do. Keep going. Thank you for your support. Please share. Ruby Left Hosptial Today

She lost her babies and her paw was cut off ( by butchers) but she is safe now at our shelter in China and slowly we will give her love and ease her heartache.
