Urban Mushrooms

We grow environmentally and socially friendly gourmet oyster mushrooms on upcycled coffee grounds in Newcastle, supporting our work with young people.

Urban Mushrooms use upcycled coffee grounds to grow speciality mushrooms in unused spaces that we transform into our Urban Farms. We provide education and training to young people and all of our profits are reinvested into YMCA Newcastles work with young people.
