One of my best sellers at the moment!

This adorable pom pom hat with a bobble shaped heart is just perfect for the winter season. It's knitted with a baby double knit yarn on the flat with two normal knitting needles.
You will need the following materials:
100 grams of double knit yarn/light worsted. (Whatever size you choose to knit).
3 1/4 mm/ (UK-10) (USA-3) & 4 mm/ (UK-8) (USA-6) normal knitting needles.
Darning needle.
Scissors.
Cardboard circles or pom pom maker.
You will also need to know how to :

Knit.
Purl.
K2tog,
P2tog.
MB : Make a bobble by (k1, p1, k1, p1, k1, p1) all into the next stitch, then lift the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th stitch over the first stitch.

Recommended yarn.
King cole Baby Cherished double knitting or any other yarn with the same tension requirements.

Hat circumference : 10, (11, 12.5, 14, 15, 16) inches. (unstretched).

🌸Knitting tip!🌸
When knitting 2 identical pieces do you find when you knit the second piece that it is slightly bigger than the first. Even if you have knitted the same amount of rows.
This is because your tension becomes slightly looser the more you knit.
The answer is : try knitting them at the same time with 2 separate balls of yarn
That way your booties, mittens, cardigan sleeves or fronts will always be identical to each other.

We all love visting yarn shops so we've come up with an event to introduce you to some new favourites.

The Great British Yarn Crawl will run from mid-April to the end of June and, for anyone who loves visiting a yarn shop, it couldn’t be easier to take part. A real treat and a great excuse for a yarnie road trip.

You’ll be able to pick up a Yarn Crawl card from any of the UK Hand Knitting premium yarn shops and collect your first stamp. Then, when you visit other participating shops you’ll be able to pick up more stamps. When you have six stamps, hand in your card to the last shop to be entered in a prize draw for lots of yarnie goodies (you need to have visited at least two different shops).

There are 21 prizes of yarn and patterns plus a prize for the most intrepid of you, who travel furthest around the country.

We’ll be telling you more about The Great British Yarn Crawl, the prizes and the shops in the run up to the start of the yarn crawl next month.
