If you drop your dog off for a groom, I expect you to be contactable on the number you provided I had a couple of experiences recently where something is wrong with the dog ie fleas, behaviour or health and I've not been able to contact the owner and you must be free to come collect your dog if there is something wrong. Thanks

FLEAS
please check your dogs. My flea charge is separate to the grooming fee, and it is £15 this covers the flea shampoo and 2 flea bombs, one for each of the rooms in the shop. I'm not getting to keep the 15 pounds as that is the total cost of products used. Thanks and please please check and treat prior to your dogs appointment

RANT

It is YOUR responsibility to treat your dogs for fleas.
PLEASE DO NOT book your dogs into the groomer knowing they have them thinking its my problem it is NOT

I understand on occasion there will be the odd person who genuinely didn't know but when your dogs fur has changed colour due to the constant licking and nibbling for goodness sake treat your dogs please
If you need advice I'm happy to help or call your vet but why would you put other clients dogs at risk 🤔
There will now be a £20 flea charge this is for the treatment of the fleas and also the shop because I then have to treat the shop before anyone else comes in to prevent the spread, I don't want to do this but I've had to send 2 dogs home today as already had a client in the shop that is half the days takings down and its happening more and more.
Sorry if this upsets some people but I have to protect the majority so please check your dogs and treat if needed
