I am heartbroken to learn that one of my long standing clients has passed away today after suffering an attack from a dog whilst out on his walk. This little dog wouldn’t hurt a fly and was the sweetest boy. My thoughts are with his family at this incredibly sad time. RIP Wally. X

Good Morning to all my clients.
I have had a lot of calls and messages this week asking to pre book for the rest of the year, which has prompted me to post this status.
So here goes…..After 8 years of being full time in the dog grooming industry, starting off in my little garage to my current busy shop at Park Avenue, Iv decided that after almost a decade it’s time to think about taking the business in a different direction. I love having a shop but with many factors to consider (some within my control and some not ) and the recent house move we have undertaken to Boulby, it makes sense for me to start winding down now and going very much part time and most likely from home.
There are still things to be considered before my final plans are in place, but for now my intention is to take no further booking past July 20th and then I will be having the summer holidays off to regroup and further update you all with plenty of notice again about future plans.

So myself and Jasper have been down to Maxis mates today to drop off some blankets and bedding for the dogs. The kennels are pretty full guys.🥹 It’s a real shame for these dogs and they all deserve a loving family and a comfy sofa to call their own. Sadly it’s not possible for all the dogs. Some are permanent residents due to behavioural issues etc and some are just overlooked and end up staying for longer than others. So with that said the rescue is always looking for donations to help keep it running. I always do a collection to take up just before Christmas and every year I ask if you would all be kind enough to support my collection. So I’m putting the plea out now to say I will be taking donations in the salon from now until 22nd of December and I really hope I can fill the van with as much stuff as possible. So here is the wish list..
