Redcar dog owners do you have a special four-legged cuddle monster who would like to snuggle up to a neighbour in her own home for an hour or so most weeks? We have a number of people waiting for Wag friends in your area.

People like Mrs M who lives alone and for health reasons she hasn’t been able to leave her home for six years. She’s always had dogs in the past, Jack Russells mostly, and she really misses having a dog of her own. She has a very supportive family but she’s understandably spending more time alone than she’d like and a chat and a cuppa with a fellow dog lover and a cuddle with a lovely dog will make the world of difference to the way she feels about her life.

If you have a lovely dog and a little bit of time on a regular basis, please don’t hesitate, we’ll make it safe and easy for you to volunteer..🐶♥️🐶

Hello, I love animals and I am here to care for your beloved pet in their own home. I can exercise your pet and spend time with them. I have over 30 years experience caring for animals. I worked for an animal charity for 17.5 years. I have a City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate for Dog Grooming Assistants. I have a National Certificate in the Management of Horses, a NVQ Level 2 Animal Care. I have attended courses in Dog and Cat behaviour.
