Desperately seeking a new home for Ollie.
Ollie is a happy-go-lucky chap, with lots of energy. He is a 1 year old male Australian Kelpie. He is up to date with immunizations and flea/tick/worming treatments. He has been living with me for 3 months and I have been doing lots of training with him. He really deserves a second chance. Here is what I can tell you about Ollie:
• He is very affectionate and likes to cuddle
•He learns quickly
•He is attentive
•Good with other dogs
•Loves people
•Toilet trained
•Crate trained
•Highly motivated by food
•Highly motivated by play
Ollie has been working on foundations like coming when called, loose lead walking, leave it, settle, stay, sit and down. He has recently started learning agility and obedience work. Ollie would be perfect for any dog-sport.
He is doing great with house manners (not begging, counter surfing etc.) and adapting to a busy household. He would do best in a home without very young children as he is quite excitable and still likes to jump up on people (we are working on it). As well as me, he currently lives with a 9 year old, an 11 year old, another dog and a cat 🐈
Ollie needs a foster or adopter ASAP. He will come with a go home training plan and support post foster/adoption.
He is such a sweetheart with a LOT of potential. I’d love to see him go to a great home. If you are interested in Ollie send a message or email [email protected]
Thank you!
Dobby is enjoying some indoor enrichment - a very simple ‘find the treats under the blanket’. He’d just done a little dog parkour session (using a washing tub and piano stool amongst other things!). Training equipment doesn’t have to be expensive! This sniffing activity is great for dogs in this hot weather and can provide calming effects - how are your dogs keeping entertained during this heatwave? 🥵☀️🐶💕
It’s so important to give puppies lots of different experiences and socialise them in a safe way. This is one of our socialisations, with a little border collie puppy sniffing new smells, making new friends and building confidence bit by bit. All of our sessions run with head trainer, Laura.
Send us a message for more information or book into the puppy socialisation sessions (Fridays at 11am and alternate Mondays at 5pm) which will be running next year:

I had a lovely time yesterday training Peter and his beautiful collie, Maggie. We worked on the foundations of agility, including jumps and the tunnel. Maggie was fantastic! Keep up the good work 🐾
Here I am watching the amazing Brenda Aloff, hosted by Dog and Bone, and who decides to show up? A wild peacock!! He seemed very interested 😂
I’m here in Reading watching the brilliant Brenda Aloff, hosted by the amazing team at Dog and Bone, and who decides to show up? A wild peacock! Understandably, he looked very interested and wanted to join in 😂
Meet Hannah and Alfie, our newest members to agility class. Amazing - their first class ever! Welcome to the family 😊🐶
Here is Ant with Ruby in our Sunday gundog class, practicing the recall to front position, right finish and heel walking. Ruby can easily lose focus, but Ant managed to keep her attention the whole time. Well done to you both!
Another video of Lucy and Isla in our gundog class (see previous post). More fantastic work, well done!
Here are Lucy and Isla practicing recall to front position, right finish and heel walking in our Sunday gundog class. Isla is a big, bouncy Labrador who can find it hard to concentrate, especially as she is new to this class. Lucy handles her extremely well and gets some great focus from Isla. Well done both of you!
Lovely first agility session today with Gill and Mia. Mia picked it up very quickly and clearly enjoyed herself, as did I! See you both next week 🐾
Here is a little video of Iorek, Bertie and Jack practising some beautiful loose lead walking in one of our current puppy classes. Looking good!
Congratulations to our latest puppy recruits (L-R) Margot, Henry, Murphy, Martha. We look forward to seeing some of you again in the upcoming recall workshop and Intermediate class. Good luck with your training!
Here is a fantastic video of Rita and Alfie working a rally course. They have been practising rally for about 6 months now and are doing an amazing job! Well done both! 🐶
