We had a lovely weekend away competing at Marlborough Equestrian Park. A big thank you to the Marlborough Committee on a fantastic show - the grounds were immaculate.

My team of horses were fresh and feeling great for their first start of the season.

Flying Dutchman DHU jumped a beautiful double clear for 2nd in the Grand Prix.

Cascade on fine form jumping speedy double clears all weekend.

We’ve had an exceptional 2023/24 show jumping season.
I am so proud of our beautiful horses I get to train, ride and compete. It is very rewarding having a team of horses we have owned from 2yo’s or bred ourselves.

As we are coming towards the end of the season with the big shows coming up it’s important we are monitoring our horses health.

Whether it’s hot days, cold days, training or a big competition, making sure you’re putting essential vitamins, minerals and energy back into your horses daily is key to consistent top performance.

Last weekend we had a great time up at Marlborough show. Huge credit to the committee on running a fantastic show, beautiful facilities and their new covered yard block was hugely appreciated.

While the horses were a bit wild on the first day however still picking up a few minor placings we managed to have it just right for Sunday.

Cascade and I had to move up a couple of gears and cut some lines to place 2nd in the Mini Prix 🥈

Flying Dutchman DHU consistent as always jumping a ripper double clear to the win in the Grand Prix 🥇

Always a big thank you to Mitavite NZ for keeping the horses fueled and feeling in top.

Beezie has been a lovely horse to produce.
She is a willing performer, is nicely schooled with lovely paces and has a correct jumping technique.

She is a stylish all rounder and would give anything a go whether it be show jumping, show hunter, eventing or hunting. She has an honest nature and a good attitude to her work making her very rideable and enjoyable to train.

Beezie would suit many riders - amateur, junior, young rider or a professional wanting an easy fun horse on their team to produce further.
Beezie was purpose bred from my proven Young Rider mount and had been correctly produced to become a confident, competitive jumper.
If I didn’t have so many homebred horses to produce I would love to keep her on my team as she is uncomplicated, easy and fun!

The South Island Championships was another show for the books.
A very well run show with a great turnout of competitors and fantastic courses by Roger Laplanche.

Flying Dutchman DHU putting in another great performance for me.
Winning the 1.40m and also taking out the South Island Grand Prix 1.40-1.50m Championship.

Federer NZPH starting to look very flash placing 3rd in his 1.20m warm up and winning the 1.30m.

Pandora ASH jumping some lovely rounds with a speedy jump off. Such a lovely, fun horse to produce.

Back home to the sunny South Island proved to be exactly what we needed.
Had an awesome Labour Weekend competing at Mcleans Island.
A big thank you to Show Jumping Canterbury - good courses, great ground conditions and so nice catching up with everyone.

Lola has been a quality asset to our breeding program. She has produced lovely, correct performances horses all with beautiful markings.

She is a good doer, easy to look after and very reliable when getting in foal. A great mother and feeds her foals well.
She is older now but has always got in foal first time.

Lola is very sweet natured and have had her for a number of years so a good home is very important to us.
