Today Emma and Angie had the pleasure of releasing a little blue penguin that ended up in our care. After talking to the department of conservation it was decided that the best course of action was to let the little chap go. He was enthusiastic to get back to the ocean. Just a small reminder if you see any of our lovely sea birds whilst you are visiting the beach it's best to leave them there unless visibly injured, if you are concerned please contact either the doc hotline or nz bird rescue for some advice
