#fibrefresheffect 12 days of Christmas giveaway!
The Fibre Fresh feeds are a must have for horse nutrition. Fibre fresh helps mitigate issues around gastric ulcers and is a very nutritious source of fibre for your horses. It also is high in protein which helps aid muscle development in your hard working horsies!

The @fiber_fresh giveaway would be amazing to win! As an aspiring dressage rider the opportunities that the giveaway provides is insane and would only be a dream come true. When deciding what I would do for my entry I decided why not try ride Xavier with a bag of feed over me (rest assured I made sure that Xavier was desensitised to the bag and was not worried) he was an absolute gem, love this horse to bits!

Aswell as this I think it is a cool way to show New Zealand just how cool @fiber_fresh is, we constantly forget about the businesses and people that support us, from show sponsors, normal sponsors, friends, family, coaches and everyone else in between. This giveaway is such a cool way to show NZ’ers that we have to support these important people that keep ourselves, our shows and the equine community running (especially after such a crazy year)
I had washed Xavier the day beforehand and put him in the paddock naked, after doing so I turned around to get his cover off the gate. We’ll much to my horror, after 6 hours naked in the paddock for that whole day (during that time he hadn’t rolled once) the minute I took his halter off he rolled in the wettest, muddiest patch in the paddock (which by the way, he thoroughly enjoyed). With me not having time to take him back in and wash him he had to spend the night muddy (much to his delight) with a cover on. So the next morning I had to spend the time brushing the dried mud out of his freshly washed coat.
This led to my best idea I’ve ever had this year,I don’t think he was that impressed…
P.S: it gets a lot of dust off

I am a sixteen-year-old rider located in Waitoki north of Auckland. I have ridden since I was four years old and competed both nationally and locally since I was ten.
From the outset, my experience with ponies was always challenging. My very first pony Glenvar Fez (Fez) had done very little when I bought him. In fact, he had only been to one A & P show and was an extremely nappy, quick pony who was difficult to control. Through three seasons of hard work and determination, I developed Fez into a national dressage title holding pony at Level One and was placed third in the Auckland junior rider dressage championships. I also qualified Fez for Horse of the Year within just 18 months of owning him.
My second pony Wairua’s Bolero was a step up again. He was like riding a freight train with added bucks for good measure. Whilst this pony was complex and difficult to ride, I got the most out of him and in just one season we were placing regularly at national showjumping competitions.
Now I am riding an extremely talented hack Starlight Damoiselle who I have only just started competing. I am currently focusing on Level 2 dressage and 1M showjumping to start. In our first season 2020 we won the Puhinui Horse Trials CNC 80 class finishing on our dressage score of 73.8%. I am extremely excited for the future on this horse and for the 2021 season ahead.
In terms of my experience with ponies; I have worked with both pony riders and difficult, complex ponies that require some added training and “ironing out”. I have presented ponies for sale and have helped families sell their beloved ponies. I have worked with difficult, challenging ponies that are giving their riders are struggling with and have taken great pleasure in seeing these combinations succeed in the end.
I am available to help you too. I will come to you or you can come to me in Waitoki. I will assess your pony and rider and provide you with my advice on what needs to be done to get you back on track. I will not work with dangerous or unruly ponies and do expect full transparency from owners prior to me riding your pony.
I look forward to hearing from you any time. Please PM me through Messanger and I will get back to you as soon as I am able.
