A farewell arranged of the Livestock Punjab Lahore in honour of 23 retired officers of the Livestock Punjab especially Dr. Mansoor Ahmad , Dr.Ehisham, Dr. Abdul Rehman under the leadership of Secretary Livestock & Dairy Development Department, Punjab and on Establishment of Disease Free Zone in Sheikhupura by Livestock Punjab by Mr.Masoud Anwar and Minister for Livestock, Punjab Mr. Ibrahim Hassan Murad at Veterinary Research Institute, Lahore arranged by Pakistan Veterinary Medical Association, Punjab Chapter where Dr. Sajjad Hussain Director General (Research) hosted the occasion. Prof. Dr. Kamran Ashraf along Prof. Dr. Masood Rabbani & Prof. Dr. Tahir Yaqub from Uvas Lahore and Prof. Dr. Fiaz Qamar from CVAS Jhang, Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Gondal Director Institute of Continuing Education & Extension-CUVAS-Official & University Diagnostic Laboratory, CUVAS Bahawalpur from Cholistan University of veterinary and Animal Sciences,Bahawalpur (CUVAS) , Shahzad Naveed Jadoon from Altech Pakistan participated especially in this occasion on invitation from Dr. Usman Tahir from L&DD Punjab.

Dr. Rashid Ahmad Retired from the post of Director General (Research), Punjab & worked as Director, Veterinary Research Institute, Lahore and Director, Livestock Production Research Institute (LPRI), Okara passed away, he was truly Gentleman, honest and soft spoken passed away, may God bless his soul rest in peace and patience to his deceased family, I have got a chance to work with him
