โ ๏ธTo all our clients and referring practicesโ ๏ธ:
Our main hospital email ([email protected]) has been down since Monday. We are working on trying to get this fixed as soon as possible, but we are currently without any access to check anything coming through to it. Please call us with any questions or concerns in the meantime, and we will point you in the direction of a different email if needed.
We know many of you use this as a form of communication and updates to us regarding patients, so we want to let you know that we're not ignoring you!
We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding during this time.
We will update once we have more information!
Who says that it has to be Dogs VS Cats?
Lola (a sweet and small 11 week old kitten) and Ada (The big German Shepherd) certainly don't feel that way!
Lola presented to us last week with a fracture from an unknown injury; however, she was very lucky as surgery wasn't required to fix it! She just needed to be in a splint for another week (which we removed a couple days ago) and have a few more weeks of confinement! Upon leaving at her last visit, her mom told our front desk about how Lola plays with Ada at home, and she sent us this cute video for us to share! Just look at those two! It's a match made in heaven of cuteness ๐ค
Blessing you with some sunshine on this cloud day ๐
Kona presented to us about 3 weeks ago requiring surgery quickly due to osteosarcoma, and thankfully our surgeon was able to see her with urgency to have her leg amputated.
We're so happy to announce that the owners shared this video with us a few days ago, and she's doing phenomenal! You'd never even be able to tell she only has three legs now, she certainly doesn't act like it!
The world might be a little bit more of a happier place if everyone got to bring their pets to work with them, ๐ but since they donโt, hereโs a little Monday Serotonin for you allโจ

From our family to your's, we wanted to extend a big Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Holidays!
Have a great day and long weekend. We'll see you all on Monday. ๐ฅณ
Happy Friday!!! ๐
For those of you who remember our post a few weeks back about Leo - the puppy who had a fracture that healed improperly due to not being seen by a medical professional because of his original owner - his mom had shared this video with us, and we couldn't help but want to share it with you all as well!
You go Leo! Kicking butt and taking names! ๐ฅณ๐ค
Today is #GlobalCatDay and with that, we want to highlight the underdogs, the ones less likely to get adopted, and the ones most likely to be euthanized - the senior cats. ๐ฟ
Sadly, cats and kittens already face the highest euthanasia rate out of all shelter animals, and senior cats have a significantly higher probability than their younger counterparts. There are so many great reasons to adopt seniors!
~They're already fully grown and have a set personality, so you know exactly what kind of cat you're bringing into your home!
~Senior cats are not as destructive! They typically don't jump around, run, chew, or claw things like kittens might while learning.
~They don't need much supervision! Older cats are the perfect lounging, netflix-binging, blanket-cuddling companions. What could be better than spending these upcoming winter months than with a furry cat who just wants to relax with you?!
Senior cats are almost always last to get adopted, and the ones in shelters will typically spend out their last days in cages. It's easy to be captured by a kitten's cuteness, but it's even better to have the thankful love of a senior.
Here is a link to Anchorage's Animal Care and Control center! Take a look and maybe take home your newest furry companion today ๐ค

WE'REEEEEE BACK!!!
Did you miss us?๐
We apologize for the lack of our posting lately. Unfortunately, we had some Covid outbreaks reducing our staff significantly for the last few weeks (including me, your handy dandy social media poster ๐ญ). I'm very happy and thankful to announce that everyone is back and in good health though. We'll resume our normal posting next week. Thank you for all your understanding and support during these past weeks. We appreciate you!

Blessing your feed with another #TransformationThursday โฃ๏ธ
Meet Miss Nuka. Nuka came to us earlier this year and had a bilateral TPLO's performed by Dr. Edwards. Her dad emailed us this video and had this to say,
"Just wanted to say thanks again for the great work with Nuka. Sheโs her playful self again. Weโve seen flashes of full speed โzoomiesโ already. Here she is having some fun with me this morning.
Matt D."
Way to go Nuka! Keep rocking it ๐ฅณ
Lena's owners also sent us a super cute video of how well she's doing post operatively that we wanted to share as well!
You rock Lena! ๐ฆพ๐ฏ๐
