Tortellini

Tortellini is skinny like a long noodle. He has this big head that looks like it should go on a different body right now. We are working on getting some weight back on this sweet boy but is really hard to do in the shelter stress. Tortellini is a true gentleman. He knows all the commands, has the gentlest mouth taking treats, and has excellent leash manners. Also, he couldn't get any cuter if he tried. Tortellini is a total package. Chadwick

Totally worth the wait! Chadwick took a few minutes to show us his sit, but when he did, it was the cutest! This sweet boy has a baby face and super white puppy teeth, but without the typical puppy energy. He loved when we crouched down to his level, sneaking in gentle smooches without climbing all over us. Chadwick was happy to stay by our side, curious about squeakers and stuffies but quickly dropping it for more time with us. He's just a baby looking for a little reassurance and a new start in life! Bentley is one itchy little peanut. He is pretty darn cute too! His body could use some extra nutrition and care to get healthy, but he isn't the most neglected stray we are seen. (That is good thing). Bentley has great medium energy. He loves toys, but they come in a hard second to anything edible. Bentley knows commands and allows handling all over. Geranium

Geranium is in full bloom! This sweet girl came to us a little thin and has a coat that needs some TLC. She was food focused her first day out with us which is very understandable. Geranium does know a few commands and is smart, so we are sure she can learn a few more. She allows handling all over yet is pretty independent taking in all the smells and searching for leftover crumbs when outside. Geranium just needs a real home now. Grasshopper Pie

Grasshopper Pie could really use some extra calories. She came to us so skinny and isn't gaining any weight so far. Grasshopper Pie is a refreshing youngster. She is so smart and loves to learn new commands. Her little spin before she sits is to die for. All of her is really. Grasshopper Pie plays well with toys and in the pool but cuddling and being close seem to be her preferred activity. We love a cuddly dog! Darian is slipping through the shelter cracks. This boy is such a lover. He doesn't like his kennel and can be vocal about it, but outside he is as cool as a cucumber. Darian absorbs attention wonderfully. He isn't needy or too independent either. He knows commands, will work for any treat, and has the cutest little smile when he is waiting for whatever we ask next. Alexis exudes happiness. Just watch her little gallop when we call her over! Alexis knows commands, takes treats nicely, and just loves a good snuggle. Mild mannered Mostaccioli! This boy is a dream. Maybe he is a little older, or maybe he just doesn't like to chat. Mostaccioli is so chill. He knows commands, has beautiful leash manners, and doesn't jump at all, even when we are down on his level. What he does do when we are crouched down is try to sneak in all the kisses. Gingee is all puppy antics! She doesn't just smile, she gives more of a joker grin. And jokes she does have. Gingee is a free spirit. She will cruise by us and allow some pets, but real attention is on her terms. Gingee loves to jump up to say hello and then she is off again doing whatever she does. She is athletic and a showoff. Gingee does know what the sit command means, but she is in no hurry to listen. If you're as silly as Gingee, then she might be the right girl for you. Tobago

Tobago is innocence in its purest form. He is young but has lived a long life already. Tobago is covered in little scars and his eyes are filled with fear. He is too scared to walk on the leash so we have to carry him in and out of his kennel. He is a stinky boy and his fur feels like he has lived in his own filth all his life. Tobago wants to trust and treats definitely help build that up for him. Coleman

That handsome face belongs to quite the character! Coleman loves giving people hugs and all the affection! His adorable face will stop you in your tracks, but his charming wobbly duck run will win you over! Hugs and kisses are Coleman's specialties and he’s not shy about showing his love. While he wasn't too interested in toys, he enjoyed a few treats and took them gently only to return for more hugs. Maybe he is making up for lost time or he was so happy to be out of his kennel he needed to show his appreciation. Either way Coleman is an absolute hoot. Gloria Jean is a burst of good energy! She is happy and wiggly all the time. Gloria Jean has this beautiful long tail with the most perfect white tip that almost kisses her face when it wags. She loves treats and will show off her command knowledge for them. She even sits when we are down on her level. Gloria Jean is comfortable with all over handling and gives affection back nicely. Pandra

Used and discarded never stops. The shelter is constant heartbreak. Pandra is another neglected, terribly skinny, just had puppies lady. She seems so young too. Pandra is hungry unsurprisingly. She knows some commands and allows handling all over. Really anything for more food. Pandra's body is bouncing back from her last litter and we are trying to fatten her up while she is with us. Pandra should be loved for who she is, not the puppies she can provide. One promise we can keep to her, is that was her last litter. Pandra is ready for a happy life in a good home. Iris

Iris is a little love. This version of Iris is such a change from the dog we first met. She was shutdown and then some, but we could still see her sweetness. Now Iris can hardly contain her excitement when she gets to be outside with us! She does the cutest tail-tucked spins and mini zooms when we crouch down to her. Iris is young, small, and short with nice manners! She is adorable and beautiful at the same time, with the shiniest tri-color coat and a long tail that just keeps wagging.
