We have Shelby here at the store all day to meet you! (Saturday the 15th) This special girl is visually impaired but that doesn't hold her back. She is super active and friendly and needs someone willing to spend time training her. She is getting used to walking on the leash and would benefit from daily exercise. She has been very responsive to the training we have done with her so far and she is ready to find her new forever home! Come on in and meet her!

This is Shelby! She is a nine month old, spayed labradoodle and she is looking for a new home. She is partially visually impaired so she is a special needs case. She enjoys the company of other dogs, is not a fan of cats and needs a fenced yard so she doesn't wander. She is very active and rambunctious so a home with older children would be best as she gets more training under her belt. She is also up to date on her shots. We want to do a quarter year check in with all of you since becoming a non-profit. Our expenses thus far for the animals totaled $2,678! This includes spay and neuter surgeries, food and water, lighting, heat and so much more. So far this year we have rescued 91 animals! Please consider attending our Paint and Sip fundraiser or donating in person or via our venmo . We now can do monthly reoccurring donations if interested. We couldn't do this without your support! Also, take a look at some of our recent adoptions and a new arrival, a super sweet male hamster named Cream Puff!

What's better than a before and after collage? What's better than seeing Bear Dog transform from this to that?! Bear Dog came to us in the beginning of January with severe skin issues. Debbie took him in as a foster and with a lot of TLC, vet visits, and medicated baths he has made quite the recovery! Through it all Bear Dog's spirit never wavered and he is by far one of the sweetest souls that we have had the blessing to get to know and care for. Our days can be long and our days can be frustrating... but one look in Bear Dog's eyes and we are reminded of why we do what we do every single day.

Calling all fish lovers! We have a bunch of new fish, shrimp, snails and plants just waiting to be added to your aquarium. Also, lots of new bettas and accessories!

Did you know we have our very own Dirty Dog Wash gift certificates? They are the perfect gift for the dog lover in your life. And if you haven't tried our self serve dog wash yet you are really missing out. It's super fast, convenient and easy to use!

We are still looking for foster families willing to open their home temporarily to animals in need. Especially adult dogs at this time. We have seen a dramatic increase of adult dogs needing new homes but for the time being we have no place to house them. If you are open to welcoming a new dog into your home come by the store to fill out a foster contract. Not only is fostering a very rewarding experience for you but it can change an animals life for the better in the long run.

Being in rescue we experience a lot of good but with that comes some sadness. Monday we lost one of your favorite long term residents, Fifi the bearded dragon. She was an adult when she was surrendered to us and was with us for her last 7 years until she passed from old age. We are heartbroken but Fifi knew she was well loved and that's what matters at the end of the day. The store won't be the same without her. We love you Fifi!

Pippin is looking for a new home! She is a 4 1/2 year old, soon to be spayed Jack Russell Terrier mix. She is updated on her shots as well. She gets along with other dogs and kids. We are planning to test her with cats later today but we wanted to get the word out as fast as we could about her. She is energetic, playful and affectionate! If you would like more information or are interested in Pippin get in contact with us and we will set up a meet and greet!

We are so excited to announce our next fundraiser will be a paint and sip, Rosé and Rabbits, hosted at the pet store!! Which means there may even be some fuzzy friends to pet in between painting 😉

We will be hosting this event Friday April 28th at 6 pm! Tickets are $80 and that includes your first glass of wine! We will have delicious snacks and lots of local wines to choose from!

Tickets can be purchased at Critters and Co. store or through Venmo

The beautiful painting and teachings will be done by Just the Tip Paint and Sip

All proceeds will go back to the animals and providing the best care for them❤️🐰

This is Annie! Unfortunately, her owner passed away and she is in need of a new home. She is a 12 year old boston terrier/min pin and is about 16 pounds. She gets along with cats and children but is not a fan of dogs bigger than her. She is updated on her shots and is microchipped as well. She loves to go on walks and be active but is also is content curling up on the couch with you. We are also looking for a home to foster Annie while she waits for her forever home. If you are interested in fostering Annie or would like to give her a new home get in contact with us!

First off, congrats to Aubrie Rose Keegan for winning our kitty lovers raffle basket!!! Be on the look out for our next one!

We had a huge influx of surrendered and stray bunnies brought to us in the past week. Our baby bunnies are not available to go home but they are available to put on hold! They can go home in 3 weeks and we prefer not do holds over facebook. We do not support buying rabbits for Easter. Our bunnies are long term commitments not toys for the holiday.

Introducing two new arrivals, Bubbles the young adult male rabbit and Dexter the adult male bearded dragon! Both are very sweet and ready for their forever homes! We have 12 dozen chicken eggs all for sale by donation to the Banjo Fund. All proceeds go towards the care of our rescue animals! We are now doing punch cards for mealworms and crickets. Buy 10 bags get the 11th free! Now that all our rescue puppies have found homes we our featuring our female guinea pigs up front. Come by to say hello and maybe even take a pig or two home for yourself! PS they really like carrots!

We are at The Goose from 10am to 2pm celebrating puppy day! We have 3 rescue puppies up for adoption, a raffle basket and $2 hot dogs! Also 20% of dog toys and dog merchandise purchased in The Goose go towards our rescue critters! (Other pic of third available puppy in comments!)

More good things!

We are starting to put together a monthly raffle basket full of all kinds of goodies! Tickets are 5 dollars and all of the money goes towards care for all the critters! Our first basket is for our feline friends and we will choose a winner at the end of the month.

Have you ever wanted to have a fish tank? We have put one together just for you! The tank is 10 gallons and comes with a heater, a filter with new inserts, a siphon for cleaning and water changes, a net, and a thermometer. It also comes with a decorative log, a couple plants and a variety of tropical fish!
All you have to do is take it home and plug it in!

Of course we had to throw in a few puppy pictures for you to enjoy! And once again thank you to our fosters.. you guys are literally life savers and we don't know what we would do without you!

One of our incredible customers made us some custom stickers! Come by and grab some while they last.

Egg season is coming soon! One of our amazing supporters donated a fridge for fresh chicken, duck and quail eggs. If you are looking for a place to donate eggs consider Critters and Company! All of the proceeds from egg sales will go towards the care of our rescue animals! Take care of rescue critters and take home fresh eggs in return? We feel like that is a win win!
