Rosie is halfway done with her gentling. I can catch her, she leads well, stands tied, and I can touch both sides. She's learning that being brushed isn't so bad. She's still pretty nervous about me touching her legs, but that will come. She had her first trip outside her pen into the barn alley and did well. Next trip will be outside 😊

Any of my local Colorado Springs horse peeps... I'll be offering pasture board and select few full care spots at a cute little farm in Falcon/Peyton area starting next month. Diva did great! A couple green horse moments, but nothing bad. Diva and Dragon are the best mustang girls I could possibly have ❤️

Belle is ready for her new 🏠

6 Year old mare from Fish Creek NV. Stands about 15h. Belle would be best suited for an equine experienced home. She is an opinionated mare and needs someone with the confidence to continue her training.

The good:
She leads well, stands tied, handles all 4 feet, ok with fly spray, will wear a saddle without any issues, a d trailer loads. She's brave and not spooky. Takes in new things without a lot of snorting or fuss. She's tall, built like a QH, big b***d, has amazing conformation, and a pretty good attitude overall. She will be ready to start riding with very little more training.

The bad:
Can be a bit hard to catch. She doesn't run from you, but turns her head just out of reach and walks away. She's weird about her ears and will need more work with that. Her go-to if she's stressed or angry is to turn her butt to you and threaten with kicks. She never truly tries to get me, but will toss a leg out in protest if she's unhappy.

Belle is Sale Authority, so no BLM paperwork required. She has a current coggins and health papers from BLM. She's ready to go in any direction. Rehoming/training fee applies.

Belle has come along by leaps and bounds! She's almost ready to find her forever home.

Belle is 15.1h, bay dun, from Fish Creek NV. She could pass for a quarter horse in build. She would do best with someone with a lot of equine experience (not necessarily wild mustang experience). She is very sweet and kind, but can get irritated when asked to do things she doesn't want to do.

The good: She leads, ties, handles feet, accepts grooming, has worn a ba****ck pad and been fully saddled once. She will be your best friend for treats and is very food motivated.

She is pretty ear shy. Can be a little hard to catch at first. She still pulls away sometimes when we are out in a large area. She will need more practice with leading outside. Otherwise all we have left to learn is trailer loading.

She is Sale Authority, so no BLM paperwork required, she will be an outright ownership. Located in Colorado Springs.

Training fee applies.

Belle is a 6yr old mare from Fish Creek NV. She is 15.1h and very stout. Belle will be looking for her forever home in a couple weeks when she meets all gentling requirements. She will be catchable, lead, load, handle feet, wear a saddle and bridle, and lunge in a round pen. Belle is sensible and smart, but can test her trainer. She would be best suited for an advanced intermediate or someone working with a trainer. She is Sale Authority, so no BLM paperwork involved. Big progress with Belle today. We had a good session working in the barn, got all the knots brushed out of her mane, got most of her body brushed, and led calmly in and out of her stall. Belle will be looking for her forever home soon. She is a 15+ hand 6yr old mare from Fish Creek NV.

Finally making time to work with the mustangs again! Gideon is coming along nicely. Got all the mats comed out his mane. Worked on standing tied and leading. And working on touching his legs so we can get those awful feet taken care of. He's so gorgeous 🥰

Good day with both of these two! Belle had to have a pretty intense session the other day, but we seem to be making amazing progress now since we worked out our issues. And Gideon is just tense, but getting better day by day. He even let me touch both front legs today, which up till today sent him snorting and running. I'm a little behind with these guys from where I wanted to be, but we are getting there!

Better day with miss Belle today. I learned she's not really good with stress and gets incredibly defensive. She's not a fan of the lunge whip even being in my hand. It makes me feel defenseless going in empty handed ... But it makes her a lot more at ease. Got some good neck scratches in today and got her neck rope off. I'm gonna give her a day or two to unwind and just keep sessions short and simple before I push for a rope or anything stressful. She'll be looking for a home in a month or so when she graduates gentling 😁

Big day for Gideon. I got some first touches in yesterday. Today he got his neck tag off, lead rope attached, learned he likes a good scratch on his neck and shoulder, and got a couple steps in learning to give to pressure. This boy is NICE. If I could keep another horse right now this one would be it.

Dang he's got it all....looks AND brains! He's prob 15.1h, from Salt Wells WY. Got some nice first touches in today. I think it's going to be hard to let this one go, but he'll be looking for a home once he's made it through training. And he still needs a name!

Good thing you're pretty... And I know you're not actually mean. This girl let me touch her in the corrals and followed me around like a little lost puppy. Hopefully it's just stress causing her to act out like this 🙄

Ariel is so smart and willing. She 14.2h and just now turning two. She leads, ties, handles feet, likes scratches and attention, and has been led around outside her pen. Aiming for trailer loading and wearing her first saddle and bridle this weekend. Whoever gets this girl is going to have a fantastic partner! Located in Colorado Springs. Asking a training fee plus $25 BLM reassignment fee. Approved application for adoption required.
