That day finally came. It comes for all of us and is the same for all of us. We are filled with love and gratitude for our best friend, and a very deep appreciation for those who help us help our friend along. I love all my animals, but Fry was my once in a lifetime dog. He was incredibly smart, brave, sweet, a true terrier in that he nipped most of our grandkids and friends. Just herding people along. Fry was a great fishing dog (see that little face behind the trout in the net?) He was my constant companion. His nickname was the little barnacle, because he would sit with you, snuggle up against one of us or one of his doggie buddies. I will always reach for him and look for where he is no longer. This tough little guy would have lived forever, such a strong will and heart. But his back legs just gave out. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Debbie Mayo, for letting me have Fry and for taking such amazing care of him all these years. And thank you, Kit Ryff, for making his last moments comfortable and painless.
