If you need refills on existing prescriptions for noise phobias or are interested in trying something for your fearful pet, PLEASE DON'T WAIT! Now is the time to let us know and we can get medications filled.

If this is the first time you've tried medications for your pet for noise phobias, it may take some adjustment or alterations in dosing or medication selection to find the best fit, so the sooner we can trial things, the better we can help!

This time of year can be dangerous! Take a look at this post by our friends at Urgent Pet Care Center! Wonderful information!

Heat stroke is a life threatening medical emergency requiring immediately veterinary care. If your pet experiences symptoms of heat exhaustion or heat stroke take he/she directly to a Veterinarian.

How to keep pets cool on hot days:
• Limit exercise to early morning or evening hours.
• Never leave your pet in a hot car, even with windows cracked.
• Provide access to plenty of fresh drinking water and shade.
• Stay off asphalt. If it’s too hot for your bare feet, it’s too hot for their paws!
• Fill a kiddie pool with water or set up a sprinkler/misting hose.

**Update -- due to travel conditions for Brittani and the majority of appointments rescheduling, we will remain closed for the afternoon. The last 3 weeks have been a bit of a hot mess, let's hope for better weather and health for all and hopefully normalcy soon!**

We are so thankful for everything she does for our office and our patients and incredibly proud of how hard she has worked to be back to work after her stroke last fall. Heads up about Thursday 10/12 -- Cox is going to have planned system maintenance in our area most of the day so we likely will not be able to function at normal capacity. Please text rather than call and if we are seeing you on Thursday for routine care, check or cash will be the easiest forms of payment for us to accept at that time!
