We wanted to share a great way that one of our clients is honoring her furry friend. Evelyn Green had these paintings commissioned of Abby to commemorate the many hats that she has worn. Abby has been a support animal, an agility competitor, and a search and rescue dog. We thought these were adorable, and the commissioning artist has some great rates.

‼️‼️‼️ Respiratory Outbreak Info ‼️‼️‼️

As you guys have probably seen on the news, there have been numerous reports from veterinarians about an increase in the number of patients being treated for an unknown canine respiratory disease. This has been mainly located in the north/northwest region of the country but we are monitoring the progression and watching for updates closely.

At this time we don't think it is necessary to be overly concerned, but we do recommend that dog owners take precautions to prevent illness, such as avoiding scenarios with other dogs and making sure dogs are up to date on vaccinations, especially against respiratory diseases (such as Bordetella and Canine Influenza). Especially those traveling out of state.

Common symptoms of the illness:
Coughing
Shortness of breath
Lethargy
Wheezing
Ocular and/or nasal discharge

We are monitoring the situation closely and will keep all of our clients updated as we get more information.

If your dog is coughing, please do not bring your pet in the building and call from the car upon arrival.

Woodland Trails has said goodbye to one of its most-beloved and most-tenured staff members.

Molly Morey of Edmond, 13, was one of the few employees that always showed up to work on time, largely because she lived there. She was mostly quiet and never complained that she was practically paid in kibbles. Her hobbies included sleeping in her little yurt, dusting the floor with her long fur, eating other dogs’ toenail clippings, and stealing hearts. Molly came to work at Woodland Trails in its original location off 2nd and Santa Fe in 2015. She showed her skills in a variety of fields, from cattle rustling to custodial services. Her bright eyes and bushy tail will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you give your dog a hug and a treat.
