Here is a throwback blog post- The reason that The Good Pup Project was born. I have to admit, Maizee and I have come a long way in a year- and we have so far to go. But life is about the journey, right? And I am cherishing all the lessons I'm learning from my sweet Maizee, and the ones I'm learning by working with all the wonderful people and dog teams we are blessed to know!

To all my former grooming clients- No, I'm not starting to groom again (Sorry!) BUT- I wanted to let you all know that I have opened a dog training business! The Good Pup Project Dog Training is run right from my home in my former boarding kennel building that is now my little training studio! I offer private sessions here or at your home, and group classes. I will pin the fall class schedule to the top of this page. There are foundation classes like STAR Puppy and Family Dog Obedience, as well as fun things like Tricks class and Sniff it! Nose works from WAG IT! games. If you are looking for positive training, focused on building a stronger relationship with your dog, I would love to help! The only issues I don't address are separation anxiety and dog aggression cases- these I respectfully refer to very qualified experts so you get the help you need. Feel free to share this post with anyone you know in the Southern Maine area who has dog training needs! Thanks and Happy Training!

Please note: Pawsibilities will be closing for business after Christmas 2019. It really is surreal for me... I have been grooming dogs for over twenty years, and they have been wonderful years. I want to thank you for trusting me with your fur babies. I have loved each one and feel blessed to have known them. Even (actually, especially!) my 'special kids', who didn't necessarily like grooming and challenged me to meet them on their terms and find a way to work with them.

It isn't easy to make this decision, but I think it is time for me to look to a new adventure, whatever that will be. I will be taking appointments until December 27, so give me a call if you'd like to get in before then! 💖🐶💖

I had so much fun spending the day at Leapin' Lizards doing animal communication readings! I met some wonderful people and pets and I thoroughly enjoyed helping them connect! I'll be back again next Sunday and the Sunday after that. Come on in and bring a photo of your animals for a reading of your own!

All dogs have warning signals they hare before they bite. Problems occur if you don't know how to read those signals, or if you have inadvertently trained those signals right out of your dog.
