Wow what a morning! Rabbit show day for the kids. So many ribbons won and just an amazing day for the kids. All had a great time today and the girls have gotten really independent so all I had to do was take pictures.
Chloe: Grand Champion And Reserve Grand Champion Homegrown market Roasters pens. Best opposite in any other medium and 1st in class with Eclipse, 4th place in any other light with Liberty, 3rd place in showmenship.
Alexandria: Grand Champion and 3rd place for her homegrown market fryer pen, 4th place showmenship, 2nd place in any other light with Shadow, and she won the rabbit management award.
Cayson: had a great time and was very excited to show his bunny liberty. He also got to see lots of tractors and even got a picture with the officers this morning.
Thank you to everyone who came out to watch the kids in an event they work so hard at all year. We appreciate everyone making the kids feel extra special today.

Lots of baby quail hatched the last couple days. 54 to be exact! We had one with splay leg that needed some therapy, an hour in the cup and it's legs were strong enough to hold himself up again.

Today we helped out a struggling rabbitry and took in 7 beautiful dwarf Hotots. These are pedigreed and use to being shown and handled. Please let me know if you have some interest in giving one of these babies a new home.
Baby quails (and Climber)we're ready to move outside today. And our baby rabbits are growing like crazy. We also have been getting at least 1 egg a day from our adult quails. And in 7 days we have our first batch of eggs hatching. It's an amazing day on the farm.
Last weekend we put a new roof on the chicken run to safely let cayson's chickens out in the run for the 1st time. They are loving being able to run around and scratch the ground.
Busy weekend on the farm. Sexing quails and rabbits. Weighing rabbits and tattooing them. Cleaning everyone cages and enjoying the sunshine. And let's not forget we have 60 quail eggs and 2 dozen chicken eggs in the incubators due to hatch in about 13 days!!!
Yesterday we welcomed they adorable quail onto the farm! So excited to try our hand at raising these beautiful birds.

We have been blessed to raise some beautiful meat pens for our local fair. This year we are able to breed for other fairs later in the year. If you have a later fair and would like to purchase a meat pen please pm us and we can see if we are able to breed for your local fair. We have won many grand champion pens for both fryer and roaster pens.
We have some beautiful rabbit babies. Today everyone got checked over weighed and sexed. The girls are looking forward to fair this year.
The babies are running all over the place now. Nest boxes have all been turned onto the sides so ignore the messy cages as they get a little bigger all the extra fur and straw will be removed but for now it gives them a warm place to snuggle.
This boy has spent the week home from school due to surgery. When not much could make him smile a visit from some of the baby bunnies was sure to cheer him up. They are growing so fast and looking amazing.
Baby chicks and baby bunnies are growing quickly. Bunnies have fur and eyes are open now. We have a couple litters left to go on this round of breeding.
It's baby bunny time here. 3 first time momma's have built beautiful nests deep in fur and straw all babies are warm and have full bellies. 16 new babies.
