Got a half doz fresh eggs laid this week if anyone is interested. $1.50.

It's best to not wash eggs until ready to use. Wash gently in warm water:no soap. If you do wash the eggs, they'll last about 2 months in the refrigerator.
Eggs that aren't washed should last about 2 weeks out of the refrigerator, or about 3 months in it.

Our current farm residence:
3 Sebastopol Geese- I call them “Little Geesies”
8 assorted chickens- called chickies
1 Turkey- called Turk
Assorted fish
1 Siamese- named Cash Money
1 Bernese mountain dog named Zelda
1 Bernedoodle named Goose
3 wild children: Solomon, Willow and little Lu.

Sebastopol geese are bred in the spring. Chicks available as well as fertilized eggs during that time.

We’ve been through some major ups and downs in the last 2 years of owning our delusional farm. What remains true is we love our home, we love our animals and we love each other

Pumpkin Cream Cheese Whoopie Pies! Some have chocolate chips in them! 😋 I’m obsessed with the cream cheese frosting... I might eat all the leftover frosting!

So... something that was meant to be a type of personal blog became something more! You truly never do know where a path will lead you when you start a journey! Under this Wisconsin cottage laws I will be selling baked good from my home! I’m starting small and recipes will change with the seasons. I will take orders via PM or text (262) 685-7702. I can set up a time for drop off or pick up! Right now I am offering:
-Honey Wheat Bread (honey harvested in West bend)- $3.50
-Sourdough Boule- $5.00
-Autumn Harvest Bread (chock full of apples grown from our trees and pecans!)- $4.50
-Pumpkin Cream Cheese Whoopie Pies (made with pumpkin from a local farmer)- $1.25 per pie (6 for $7.50/ 12 for $15)

My first order is going out this evening and we couldn’t be more excited! (Maybe not Jake though since he doesn’t get all the baked goods for himself 😂)
