A little reminder that we will be at Pet Palooza 2024 THIS SUNDAY! Most of our pawfect adoptable pups will be with us for you to meet, love on, and maybe even find a new best friend! Not quite up for adopting or fostering yet? No biggie! We are asking for donations of food, blankets, dog beds & toys at this event! We'll even accept a dollar bill, to help us fill our donation jar! Click the words above so you don't miss out on this FREE event! We'd love to meet your sweet pets too, so make sure to bring them along! See you Sunday!!

Big Red Rescue spreads puppy love at preschool! 🐾❤️

Yesterday, our team had the joy of visiting The Pines Day School with some of our adorable rescue pups. The children's faces lit up as they got to pet and interact with our furry friends. It was heartwarming to see the instant connection between the kids and the dogs.

Our visit wasn't just about cuddles (though there were plenty!). The children also had the opportunity to ask questions about pet care and rescue, nurturing their curiosity and compassion for animals.

These moments remind us why we do what we do. Educating the next generation about animal welfare and the joys of pet companionship is so important.

A big thank you to the Pines for having us, and to our wonderful volunteers who made this visit possible. And of course, a special shout-out to our patient pups who soaked up all the love and attention!

Growing up + learning together:

Charlie and Cain learn life lessons side by side! 🐾👦

This heartwarming scene captures more than just a boy walking his puppy. It's a moment of mutual growth and responsibility. While Charlie (our adorable foster pup) is learning leash manners, young Cain is discovering the joys and challenges of pet care.

Dogs have an incredible ability to teach children empathy, responsibility, and unconditional love. Through daily walks, feeding routines, and playtime, kids like Cain develop important life skills that will serve them well into adulthood.

Momma Sarah💜 40 pounds, 13 months, house trained, good with children and other dogs. Will jump a four foot fence. Loves attention and adventure, rides in car well. She is such a loving dog and even though she is a momma she is still just a puppy! She is the sweetest and wants all the love she can get. She is a beautiful dog and is looking for a foster and even better an adoption!
