This is a collection of contemporary realistic oil paintings, focused on animal and figurative. Available for commissioned portraits of animals and humans.

My paintings are a reflection from a lifetime of influences, past and present. They are primarily focused on figurative studies of animals and humans in all forms. Landscapes is another avenue of exploration that I enjoy. I consider myself a contemporary realist and reply on oil paint as my medium of choice. The majority of work shown on this page are available for purchase, and there are numerous

commissioned work shown as well. With a request for a commissioned piece, I do require a 50% deposit prior to beginning work, along with a signed contract. The contract is available for perusal via the PDF format and will contain detailed information, including the aspect of the deposit. It's a very simple, uncomplicated contract. Any and all inquiries are very welcome and I will response immediately when possible. They are much appreciated. Most of all, I look forward to working with you. It's high summer here in Arkansas and this just came off the easel!

I could be doing the same thing for YOU!
This was done from separate photos, so having your 'kids' together for a snapshot isn't a must.

And since summer will be over before we know it, better get with it, folks - while these 'kids' still have their summer coats! (Horses,too - of course)

Revisiting an old painting (that I was never satisfied with), thought about it for months and for the last two weeks (and many hours later). A major 'overhaul' in progress (with minor adjustments here and there, mostly with back and foregrounds). All this at the same time while working on three commissions. Who needs a social life? :) (Not completed yet, by any means, but getting there...)
