Not sure how to start a farm business pandemic update post but here it goes:
Due to the relatively isolated nature of farming, Rabbits Garden will be continuing our work growing food for our community. Fresh air and sunlight are great disinfectants!
As I prepare to start social distancing, I want to offer a prayer that we all find ways to support one another mentally and physically. If you are experiencing hardship due to health or loss of income or just plain loneliness due to this virus, please call me. I’m not kidding. I don’t care if we’re “friends.” If you can’t leave the house and need food I will bake u macaroni and leave it on your doorstep. I mean it!
Now for a shameless pitch: This is a great time to sign up for a CSA share! You can purchase from the comfort of your home and receive a weekly supply of fresh veggies to strengthen your health from June to October, without having to go to the grocery store.
Sign up on our website. Link in bio.
If you are experiencing financial hardship, especially due to corona related income loss, please remember that we have significant discounts available via our sliding-scale system. Those who are able, please consider paying at the “Above and Beyond” rate, to help us make food available to those facing hardship. ❤️
I wanted to offer the video above because my compost is filled with never ending gifts, both physical and spiritual. It’s a place of decomposition and decay, yet it’s where I always have the most beautiful, life-affirming moments of my job.
I know I’m not supposed to like mice, but I do, I love them. It was cool to get to see this little baby.
