EAGALA programs are nationally know for their success in helping youth develop into better, more productive citizens. By developing relationships with horses, youth can overcome mental, physical, and social disadvantages. Rider’s Ranch provides affordable youth riding lessons, life skills programs, physical and mental therapy programs, summer camps, and horse related social functions. Rider’s Ranc

h strives to partner with neighborhood organizations, government entities, and religious groups. By utilizing law enforcement officers, teachers, college interns, clergy members, and neighborhood volunteers, the opportunities for personal development and growth make Rider’s Ranch a unique EGALA program.

One-bedroom standalone apartment. Free rent and utilities in exchange for help on a 2.5 acre horse farm. Property owner has health problems. Responsibilities will be assisting with horse care and taking care of mowing and w**d eating on property. Occasional tree trimming. Applicant must be physically fit enough to work in summer heat. Background check will be run. Tenant must be able to qualify for a fingerprint clearance card through the Department of Public Safety.

Rider's Ranch lost one of the program horses today. Jasper will be missed. Jasper was loved by a lot of kids that rode him and did therapy with him.

A busy weekend at Rider's Ranch. There were individual programs followed by clinics both Saturday and Sunday. All the kids had fun and the horses enjoyed getting a lot of attention. Tommy the mini pig got in on the fun.

Rider's Ranch is currently looking for a new program horse. If you have a horse that you would like to donate, your donation can be a tax write off.
Here is what we are looking for:
* Gelding
* Sound enough to walk around cones with kids
* Dead in the sides. If a kid kicks, the horse cannot take off.
* Good feet. The horse will be barefoot.
* Must come on a 30 day trial.
