Spring is finally here and we’re finally enjoying some beautiful weather. Many people and animals have been “trapped” inside for months and it’s natural to want to take our dogs with us as we run around town. We want to remind everyone Please DO NOT take your dog with you unless they can go everywhere that you are going. Leaving your dog in the car for even a short time on a beautiful day like today can be deadly. Dehydration and heat stroke can happen much faster than you think.

When it’s 75* outside, the temperature of a car can get over 100* in as little as 10 minutes. After 30 minutes it can reach over 120*, or roughly the time it takes to make quick trip to the grocery store. The myth of window cracking makes little to no difference.

Please keep your fur baby safe this Spring/Summer.
