David Rivera has been a Police Officer in Connecticut for the past 9 years and has been a K9 Officer for the past 5 years, and has started the American Detection Dog Foundation. We are in the process of launching our non-profit (501c3) organization named American Detection Dog Foundation (ADDF). ⁣

The mission of the American Detection Dog Foundation is to establish and run a working dog breeding/raising program in the United States. ⁣

“How will this help our country?”... you ask. The donations we receive will:⁣
⁣
1) enhance public and community safety by providing the canines for detection⁣
2) support search and rescue tracking programs⁣
3) promote best practice and model civic policy for use of canines by public safety organizations⁣

▪️Keep us safe by detecting narcotics, fi****ms, & explosives at airports, stadiums, seaports, and other largely populated areas⁣

Gator is starting off in puppy training and picking up his commands and obedience rapidly! Once we refine these skills (and he gets his adult teeth) more he will be moving on to bite work.

This is K9 Dash, one of SDK9CO’s family protection and bite dogs!

His handlers are 12 and 11 and they are brother and sister. Their goal is to have a dog that can protect them and their family from home intruders.

We have clients of all ages and skill levels, so whether you’re 12 and interested in our family protection services, or you want your dog to keep you safe outside the home, we can help!
