Anthony is literally the BEST!!!! He was recommend to us by our breeder. It has been worth every single penny! We have a 7 month golden retriever and we started the training when he was around 3-4 months old. We were having issues with basic obedience, bitting clothes, leash pulling, and counter surfing. Anthony Powers has completely changed my family’s lives for the better. We were on the verge of taking our fur baby (Buddy) back to the humane society due to multiple behavioral issues, but Anthony convinced us that he could turn Buddy around and get him on track to be a good boy. I highly recommend Anthony Powers to anyone looking to train their dogs, whether for basic obedience or protection work. Anthony has been an amazing trainer for both my Doberman named Luci, and I. His patience with both of us stood out the most. He created a no-judgment zone where I felt comfortable asking any question, and he always provided thorough answers without making me feel stupid.

Anthony’s training has been incredible. Luci, now an 8-month-old Doberman, has been with him since she was 12 weeks old. We are so happy we chose to work with Anthony. He is patient, kind and thorough with his training. He communicated well with us and our dog Sky. My husband and I reached out to Anthony after getting Sky from the Humane society. We are also expecting a baby soon. Sky is a very good dog but we wanted her to understand basic commands. The weekly training sessions were easy to understand and follow. Practicing with Sky ourselves was also broken down into parts and doable. We learned alot about our dog’s personality during this process! My dog Kujo has always been the sweetest boy with my husband and I but was not friendly with other dogs and even people. He has bit people, was very reactive, and completely unmanageable in public. He had to be sedated and muzzled just to get regular checkups at the vet. Rehoming was never an option so we always just thought “well if we keep him home he’ll be safe and we won’t risk anything.” After training with Anthony we’ve realized that’s not a life for him. We take Kujo to the beach, the store, have company over, and he’s making new friends all the time now. His reactivity wasn’t his fault, he was just born nervous and being a German shepherd he’s very protective. We’re so happy we spent the time, energy, and money to give him a happier life where he gets to see the world and be a dog because we love him so much and now others get to see him like we do. Anthony is a great trainer. I reached out in a very desperate need to save our dog after she had a lot of behavioral issues. She’s a 3 year old Belgian Malinois who is very loving with us, but very protective and energetic. We had no clue what this breed was about, until we met Anthony. He educated my family and I on how to actually understand how her breed needs to be treated. He was very patient knew exactly what her needs were and educated us to understand Nova. I can honestly say she’s a completely different dog. We know how to control her and she is now a well behaved dog. Very highly recommended trainer. Meet PATTY 🐺
• She is a 10 month old female Shiloh Shepherd x Wolf Hybrid Mix that had extreme destructive behavior outside and has bitten other dogs in the home.

My wife and I couldn't be more pleased with the results we have achieved by using Lorenzo's Dog Training Team (specifically Anthony Powers). We had a five month old boxer puppy(Buddy) that was destroying everything in sight. With a three and five year old taking up most of our time we needed help. My wife at one point said, "if he runs away again I'm not looking for him". Enter Anthony, within two sessions the results were incredible. We have now finished training. Buddy is great off leash and also responds to all commands (stay, sit, heel, down, come, spot). He also recognizes boundaries (front door,back door, gates, ect.) Don't get me wrong you never finish training and buddy is still a puppy but his progress has been amazing. I would also add Anthony was very professional and great with Buddy and us. The training sessions were well planned and built on one another. They were as much for the dog as the owner. As much as the weekly sessions with Anthony helped, it was the detailed homework instructions for daily training to reinforce the lessons learned. If we had any questions which we did Anthony would always respond promptly and was very helpful. We are so thankful for the training provided by Lorenzo's dog training team.
