Due to the rain expected in Escondido through Sunday, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Walk for Animals – North County on Saturday, Feb. 25. The Walk is one of our most critical fundraising events of the year, but the safety of our participants, volunteers, staff and pets is our top priority.

We will miss walking together on Saturday, and would like to offer ways you can participate in the future. To redirect your registration to the San Diego Walk or the 2024 Walk for Animals – North County or to receive a refund, please complete the short form sent to your emails. You can also email [email protected] or call 619-243-3469 for assistance.

We know this change of plans is disappointing, and we want to thank you for your compassion for animals and continued support!

Goliath!

We'd like to introduce you to the oh so large and lovable Goliath (784639)! As you can see, Goliath's favorite pastime is chasing tennis balls, though he's not always willing to let go of the one in his mouth. 😂 This sweet guy always greets his favorite people with LOTS of energy, a big smile and unlimited tail wags! Goliath has been in our care over 90 days, and you support through the Walk for Animals means we can give him all the care (and tennis balls) he needs until he's adopted. Together, we can create a more humane San Diego!
