That's a wrap for spring turkey season! Jared was able to harvest a tom in one hunt on opening day then it was back to work. Congratulations to all the hunters who were able to harvest a turkey this spring!

Lifesize Beaver with custom base habitat. We incorporated the real teeth for an open mouth pose and utilized the original tail, which had a notch missing from an old injury (rather than a replica tail).

We were happy to bring this customer's vision to life with his once in a lifetime smokey gray colorphase turkey.
This bird had damage to 13 primary/secondary wing feathers, we were able to transplant wing feathers from a donor turkey to make this mount happen.

Thank you to everyone who attended our Scoring Event! It was a night full of camaraderie for our customers, their friends, and families. We really enjoyed the opportunity to visit and connect with you all, especially since drop off season is particularly busy. We are thankful for all who support a family-owned business. This customer had a creative idea in mind - they wanted a life-size mink mounted on a wall habitat base and they wanted to incorporate a muskrat skull in the habitat as well. If you didn't know, minks are one of the primary predators of muskrats. We were happy to make their idea come to life!

Good luck to all the Michigan youth hunters this weekend! We will be in the shop working and accepting drop offs. Please call before heading to the shop. Reminder with warmer temperatures - keep the cape dry and cold. If a youth hunter is lucky enough to shoot a velvet buck, remember that the velvet is delicate, it's important to be careful when field dressing.

We took a much needed break from the shop and headed to Canada 🇨🇦 We spent time together as a family and with great friends. The fishing was great!
