Update on the fires in Ruidoso. Our trainer called and said the water is back on and the horses are doing fine. It is smokey but not unbearable. They have no phone service in town. He feels that the racetrack is pretty safe but is ready to ship. The town is on mandatory evacuation so the road are a mess. Thank you for all the prayers. I did hear that they have lost over 500 homes so far. 🙏

Requesting Prayers for everyone in Ruidoso tonight. We have seven horses at Ruidoso Downs. It has been reported that they are not allowing trailers in to pick up horses tonight. That they have turned off the power and water. Someone reported that the horses are currently ok. Praying for everyone to stay safe.

We lost our beloved Barn Boss, Mascot, and Cat this morning. Since his arrival in 2008, he hasn't missed a day greeting us each morning. No matter the circumstances, this cat was always at the center of it all. He will be missed by all of us.❤️

These boys had to face eachother today in an Allowance at Ruidoso Downs in NM and came in 1st & 2nd. Free Again a homebred by Hard Spun out of Striking Scholar Wins back to back races. Red Pill who also won his last race tired down the stretch being pressed the whole race. Couldn't be prouder of these two boys. Thank you to our Trainer Todd Fincher and his team.
