On this Catching Up With Vet Med we’re finding out what animal veterinary students would be if they could be any animal! Be sure to watch and find out what they say!
Alumna Dr. Katie Heinz-Taheny has been elected to the Society of Toxicologic Pathology Executive Committee as Councilor serving a four-year term beginning in June.
Dr. Heinz-Taheny is an avid #IllinoisVetMedAlum earning her bachelors in animal science in 1998 and her DVM in 2002. She then completed a residency in anatomic pathology and a PhD in veterinary pathology and pathobiology in 2007.
She is currently employed by Eli Lilly and Company as the Associate Vice President.
Congratulations, Dr. Heinz-Taheny! I-L-L 🧡
