**Breaking News**

Dry River Ranch would like to congratulate Dan Yeager on the purchase of NOTHING MYST, a 2017 gelding by RL Best of Sudden out of Mystical Machine! Phoenix will be under the guidance of Charlie Cole at Highpoint Performance Horses. We cannot wait to see all they accomplish as a new team in the Select and Open All-Around events!

A special thanks to the Hinchman and Turner families Alyssa Turner Peggy Hinchman -- you trusted us to find you the perfect 2YO in 2019 and build his resume the last 4 years with Terry Cross. Phoenix has been a special horse in our barn, and we will surely miss him. Thanks go out to Bailey Anderson as well, for showcasing his potential as an All-Around horse and to Cheryl A Dunkley for breeding this unicorn.

The entire Dry River Ranch family is so heartbroken over the loss of our friend and neighbor, Bruce Walquist. We just talked to Bruce and Cindy Walquist on Thursday...how soon things can change. The horse shows will not be the same without him...his boisterous laugh and kidding, his friendly smiles, hellos and greetings; and we always admire his love for family and horses. Our hearts go out to Cindy, Whitney Vicars and Craig. We mourn along with you. 🙏. A true horseman.

The National Snaffle Bit Association joins the equine industry in mourning the loss of NSBA trainer, coach and judge Bruce Walquist, 68, of Cleburne, Texas, following a horse-related accident. Bruce was well known for the ever-present smile upon his face, his words of encouragement to exhibitors and his eye for a great horse, as well as his great faith and love of his family, friends and the horse industry. Our thoughts and prayers are with Cindy, Whitney and Craig and his extended family at this time.

🔲Callin the Mechanic and Becky Borders had a great pattern in Phoebes showmanship debut and placed two 7ths in the L2 Select Showmanship!

🔲Saul and Gentry had some tough luck with Saul getting attacked by a wasp at the start cone, but finished it out with a great pattern after Gentry removed the wasp that was stinging him🤷🏼‍♀️!
