Happy Hump day folks! Where did August go??? Crikey! I wish time would slow the heck down 😜 Been a busy few days pulling all of our Winter Squash and then coming right in behind with other crops like our last Carrots 🥲 Other plantings include more Lettuce, Scallions, Spinach and more! Still lot’s of growing season left. As we approach our Farm stand days just a heads up that we will be a little light on Tomatoes this week as our next fruit sets ripen. There will still be lot’s of other goodies to enjoy so swing by and check out our selection of veggies grown right here at Kiwi Roots Farm! Catch ya soon. Cheers Dan .grown

Sometimes I feel like a net farmer! 🤪 White insect netting is covering our beets and other brassicas. The green shade cloth is placed over a bed of freshly planted Carrots to help keep them damp while they germinate. Hard to believe that the window for our last Carrots etc is almost closed for the year 😬 Hoping to sneak in a couple more beds before calling it on this crop very soon.! As the Fall approaches we plant more crops like Spinach that have shorter maturity times and enjoy the cooler weather. Hope you’ll had a great start to the week. Catch ya soon. Cheers Dan .grown
