Walking like a champ!

Our Spotlight today is on baby Drako. He is a 6 month old Giant Schnauzer who came to us 2 weeks ago after an ER visit revealed a broken left femur (the large thigh bone). These can only be repaired with surgery; splints and casts will not work. He was unable to walk and very painful! Luckily, Dr. Lockwood came to the rescue and was able to place a plate and screws to repair the bone. Now 2 weeks later he is up and walking! He still has 4 more weeks until his recovery is complete but look at this little man go! #ahwwspotlight #giantschnauzer
