Hi guys I know your probably all SICK of seeing my posts about 5G and the Dangers of 5G and you know I usually let people think whatever they want to and ur probably wondering why im bothering to do anything like this at all.

And My answer is that I think that Albert Einstein said it best with his quote below:

THE WORLD WILL NOT BE DESTROYED BY THOSE WHO DO EVIL, BUT BY THOSE WHO WATCH EVIL AND DO NOTHING!!!

And I think we have watched enough without doing anything and that needs to Change.

Wildlife Rescue Queensland

We are currently overwhelmed with the amount of calls for help to rescue animals we are experiencing with the drought and current period. We don’t have enough volunteer rescuers to help field all the rescues and transfer the animals for medical attention so we are asking for volunteers.

To be a rescuer, please read below what you must have before you can rescue with us.

What you need to be able to rescue:
✅ Live in Moreton Bay Region
✅ Join up as a member ($40 pp) so you are covered by our insurance
✅ Must have a car
✅ Must be able to transfer animals to Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital
✅ Will need to set up a rescue kit to transport contained animals (we can provide you with a list of items to collect)
✅ Will need to have a mobile phone & Facebook
✅ Training will be provided to new rescuers

You don’t have to be available 24hrs a day but if you can think about what days and time’s you would be available to be on call for rescues of animals BEFORE contacting us that would be great. Our hotline only services Moreton Bay Region as we have limited rescuers available.

Wildlife Rescue Queensland

Do you want to help wildlife but can’t actually care for them🤔 We are currently needing some volunteers to help run our hotline📞

Our current hotline operators are needing some help and a bit of a break after a very busy trauma season😞Our hotline phone operates 24hr a day 7 days a week, the hotline takes calls from the public and then organises carers to help with the injured wildlife to get them to medical treatment. Training will be given to hotline operators so they know what they need to do when taking calls☺️

You will need to live in the Moreton Bay Area as we share the hotline phone between the operators and its to expensive for us to divert calls between phones.

So if you have spare time that can help out with running our hotline even if it’s 1 day a week please [email protected] so we can give you some more information.

Wildlife Rescue Queensland

Recently we had 150 orphaned flying foxes come into care with WRQ, we thought we would update you with what’s been happening since then....

WRQ would like to thank everyone involved for chartering a plane ✈️ to fly another 160 flying fox orphans from fire and drought affected areas in NSW🦇😢 Currently flying foxes are dying in the 1000’s in NSW which is devastating and a huge blow for the environment.

Many people see flying foxes as pests, but these babies will be critical in the regeneration and seed dispersal of the destroyed landscapes in NSW so their role when they grow up is so important for the environment. The flora relies on birds and flying foxes to disperse the seeds to regrow, so without flying foxes it’s a whole lot harder for forests to regrow🌲🌿😢

We currently have over 310 orphaned flying foxes in our care who will be cared for until they can be returned for release in NSW💚🦇

Our specialised flying fox carers will have their hands full with round the clock care for these babies with feeding bottles and loads of fruit🍼🍉🥭

Animal Rescue Cooperative

This humidicrib was jointly funded by the Petbarn foundation and the rescue collective as part of a donation to Wildlife Queensland rescue.

Thanks to an AWESOME Store manager at Petbarn (Merlin!) who got this organised and funding arrived this week.

Byron and the team are amazing and as you can see. Bats are getting support.
