Dear Pooch parents, unfortunately due to personal circumstances I won't be able to groom on Thursdays in the next financial year. Those who are affected will be contacted for possible options. As my books are currently closed, it is unnecessary for me to promote my services , therefore this page will be disabled and messages will not be attended from 1st July. My main communication tools will be my mobile number and the number you receive your notifications from.
Those who are seeking regular weekday grooming, can contact Jo, the salon owner (0410430551) who now works in Blaxland from Monday to Friday with available appointments.

Hello Pooch Parents, hope you are enjoying the school holidays and the nice autumn days. I am taking some time off this week for a well needed rest and family time. Apologies if I take longer to get back to you.
Grooming will continue from next week, with my regular Thursdays and every 3rd Saturday. My Thursdays however got cut a bit shorter, due to family commitments. Last doggy will need to be picked up by 5pm the latest. This might affect my abilities to cater for all my clients needs. The good news is, Jo, my groomer colleague, is now working in the salon Monday to Friday and has available spots to fill. Any questions please don't hesitate to contact me or Jo on 0410430551

Hello pooch parents, hope you are enjoying the new year so far.
I have been having difficulies posting on this page or checking my messages through the mobile app, which prompted me the idea of looking for an alternative way to communicate with my existing clients and close this page down.
At the moment I have 4 different ways to be contacted, it would be good if I could reduce it to two. Using the booking system's number would allow me to send mass texts to reach multiple clients. Please feel free to share your idea or contact me privately.

Dear Pooch parents, I hope you've had a merry Christmas and a lovely relaxing time.
Can you believe we are only few days away from saying goodbye to 2023?
In the New Year I will continue to operate in Blaxland on Thursdays and selected Saturdays with a possibility for an alternative location and days (will be discussed privately).
I have started scheduling appointments for my regular clients for the next few months, but many more to go. Please assist me with a quick message if you haven't heard from me.
I am working today and Saturday, with few available spots left, if needed.

Dear Pooch parents, hope you are all doing well coming up to the busy times of Christmas preparation! Just wanted to let you all know that my grooming days are fully booked, despite the added days and extended hours of work, I cannot fit in any more clients pre-Christmas. Hope that all the necessary bookings have been done!

Breaks my heart seeing their sad little faces waiting for their own family to come along and call their own. They have so much love to give.

Labradoodles have such a gentle soul and are very smart and love to learn. Their coat is non shedding so therefore you won't be running around behind them sweeping.

These babies have been around children since day one and love spending time with them. They have so much to offer and will love you to the very end.

Hello Pooch parents, hope you have been enjoying this beautiful spring! I am loving the sunshine!
Christmas is only 12 weeks, would you believe that? For most of my regulars, it's at least one or two grooming sessions before Christmas. If you haven't booked it yet, send me a message. This year I won't take time off between the holidays, so no need for pre-Christmas rush, unless of course if you need to freshen your pup up for the season.

Hello Pooch parents, apologies for my silence, life has been super busy since returning from overseas. We have just entered a new financial year and in the same time I also celebrated my 10 year anniversary of dog grooming! 🥂🐩🐕
This has been a great opportunity to reflect back on my years, learn from my mistakes, celebrate successes and plan ahead.
🐱 At this point I am sticking with the two grooming days a week, Thursdays and Saturdays. However, I do need to reduce my 10-11 hour work days to avoid further burnout.
🐶 I also need to adjust my pricing due to the increased cost of living. Indiviual messages will be sent out for this matter.
🐶 Booking ahead will be advised to avoid disappointment. No new clients will be accepted, not even new additions to the families of existing clients, apologies.
🐶 I have had an increased number of 'no-shows' lately, while I understand that life can get hectic sometimes, remember that I am proving a reminder service and communication tool to avoid this. No show and no contact after the missed appointment will result in removal of my client list.
🐶 Matting. During winter most dog owners leave their dogs coat longer for warmth. It is important to keep maintaining those coats by brushing, to avoid matting and the need of premature clipping. (See pictures below!) Washing and not brushing out properly will cause tighter curls, dense matting on the skin. These coats cannot be brushed out and would traumatise the dog if attempted. My goal is to maintain positive relationships with your pooches with regular maintenance and quick sessions.

Hello pooch parents, as you may have been aware I returned from overseas last week and I managed to have two full grooming days. However, after that I managed to catch a nasty virus and have been bed ridden since. I have had to reschedule today's pups to next week, but still unsure how quickly my recovery will take. I have been getting a lot client messages, phone calls, which I partial have been able to reply to. I am going to do my best to respond to everyone today and hopefully I will start my recovery soon, so we can get back to routine. Appreciate your patience and understanding!

🐾 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT 🐾

✈ Due to family emergency I need to travel overseas in the second half of April, which will affect clients of my 6 grooming days, from 13th till 29th April. I will contact all of these clients for alternative arrangements.
Your understanding is appreciated!

🗃 On a different note, as many of you have already experienced, my booking app is now in operation, most clients details are entered and receiving notifications and reminder texts before the appointments. Electronic receipts of your payments are also available, please indicate if you wish to receive your receipt as a text or email.

📕 My books are currently closed, therefore unable to take on any new doggies, in order to maintain my availability to my existing clients! Thank you for your understanding!

Hello beautiful people!
Apologies for my silence once again, it's been a busy start of the year, can you believe it's already February??
I spent most of my January working and scheduling my clients for regular appointments. I am now using a booking app that will make appointent scheduling faster and easier.
Currently about 50% of my clients are on a reoccurring schedule and filled my upcoming weeks with limited availability for casual visits. This prompted the idea that pehaps it is time to close my books and strictly focus on my existing clients.
Any existing clients require regular booking please send me a text with your availabilities. My grooming days are still Thursdays 8.30am to 6pm
Saturdays 8am to 6pm

Happy New Year everyone!
I am still camping with my family and ferrets for the next few days, but ready to work on appointment scheduling for 2023.
At this stage I give preference to existing and previous (from Oodle Mum's Dog grooming) clients and my current available days are remaining Thursdays and Saturdays.
I am trialing a new booking app this year, hopefully will be functioning with notifications and reminders with my very first appointments.
As I am still on holidays in a noisy caravan park, I prefer receiving texts over phonecalls, but happy to call back if you prefer chatting.

I have just finalised the last appointments, swapped, reshuffled, rearranged my days and times to be able to fit in all existing client requests. We are definitely unable to take either new or existing clients this year.
Grooming will return mid-January with Thursdays and Saturdays in mind. These days are already open for booking, however my response to messages might be delayed due to busy workdays.

The weeks are flying and we are almost in mid-November. I have been busy, not only grooming, but responding to new client enquiries and scheduling appointments. I appreciate everyone's trust in my work and care of their doggies, whether they are new pups or seniors with health conditions.
My available days are now over 95% full and I have decided keep the remaining spots for existing clients, which means I am now unable to take new clients, unfortunately.
Moving forward, my last day of operation for the year is 22nd December, returning on 12th January.
I will be encouraging existing clients from January to secure regular grooming appointments 6 months ahead, whether it is one or 6 appointments. This will help plan ahead my operation and save time on my phone responding to messages. .
Any further plans and possible changes in the next year I will be communicated closer to the time. Now focusing on the next few weeks of grooming marathon, to get all my pups neat for summer and Christmas.

Did you know Christmas is only 10 weeks away?
Due to the increased number of enquiries I have decided to add permanent Thursdays to my weekly grooming schedules with longer working hours.
