As most of you know, I’m a foster mum to a beautiful furkid, Archie.
He’s under my care because his mom is unable to care for him due to cancer. Archie’s mum loves making bow ties and bandanas for Archie during her down time, and has decided to make more for sale. The materials are of good quality, mainly wool, tartan stuff (not the cheap polyester or poly cotton ones). One of a kind, not mass produced. For each colour and material there is only one piece. No duplicates or multiple pieces of the same.

I do not make any profit at all for the sale of these item. Every single penny will go to Archie and his mum.

Training time with the furkids. Lucky’s reactive to dogs and strangers when in enclosed spaces (I blame the lockdown for that), while Archie is overly in your face friendly! While on the surface it may seem that they are having different struggles, the reality is that they lack the same things : calmness and boundary

Starbucks is super dog friendly, hence the perfect place to get these two to practice calmness and staying within boundaries.

Little Lucky completed her morning walkies very early this morning to avoid the heat. Now we’re chilling out in Starbucks. Her next walkies will be really late this evening.

Cases have been diagnosed in Jaywick and now Colchester!

Parvovirus is a highly virulent virus that targets the intestines, causing severe bloody diarrhoea, vomiting and abdominal pain. Affected dogs and puppies become weak, lethargic and dehydrated.

Parvovirus is spread through direct or indirect contact with the faeces of an infected dog. Contaminated surfaces, including grass, shoes, bowls and human skin, are therefore potential sources of infection, and as Parvo is a very hardy virus it can survive for months on surfaces that have not been adequately disinfected.

Symptoms of parvovirus will normally start five to seven days after infection, although there have been cases reports of anywhere between two and fourteen days.

The early symptoms are:
◾️ High temperatures
◾️ Less energy than normal
◾️ Loss of appetite

After 24-48 hours, this escalates to:
◾️ Vomiting
◾️ Severe diarrhoea, often containing blood
