Another fairly simple pole-work exercise to kick off your mid week workouts with the horse. Wednesday is work day! Get them poles out and try this first time friendly exercise.

Walk, trot and canter friendly. Can be used to help get those flying changes down to a T.

Raise those poles to engage even more and get your horse used to raised poles before introducing more complicated plans

Half of the £200 worth of ragwort pulled today for a client ready to be burned. Other half has been taken to a different area to be burned.

Quick reminder to all clients. this is hard manual labour we are doing and is very demanding (not just done by a machine).

Sheath and udder cleaning will be an available again for a limited time only! Message to book in as spaces for this tend to fill up very fast!

Sheath and udder cleaning is important as a build-up of sm**ma within the sheath and udders can attract flies to the area in summer months and with the weather hopefully taking a turn you want to prevent fly strike.

Competition day/ days

Grooming - £15 (full show groom, quarter marks ext)

Attending comp as groom - price depends on hours

Platting
Ponies - £10
Horses - £15

Bathing - £10 - £20 (depending on horse)

Tack cleaning -
Saddle - £15
Bridle - £5

Daily

Groom - £5

Poo picking - £10 per barrow

Stable - £10 per stable (water, hay and bed)

Ragworting - £10 per bag

Mane and tail trim/ tidy - £10

Mane training braids - £5

Full yard day - £10 per hour

Riding

Flatwork inc hacking - £15 (30min+ horse dependant)

Jumping - £15 (45mins)

Lunging - £10

Lessons -

Beginners or under 10 - £10

Intermediate (jumping under 80cm) - £15

Advanced (jumping 80cm and over) - £20

All lessons 45mins (don’t charge for running over)

Cancellations must be within 24hrs, after this there will be a £5 cancellation fee (this excludes emergency’s and injury in horse or human or weather issues)

Must be ready for lesson on time or else it is cutting into your own lesson time.

If there is more than one lesson in a day on the same yard and one runs behind this will not cut into the next lesson time, you will be entitled to your 45min + lesson time frame ( I allow a 10-15 min interval in between lessons to accommodate for if this happens)


Hours -

Monday - Thursday
9am - 8pm

Friday - Sunday
10am - 5pm

These hours may vary so please do contact as I may start earlier or later depending on circumstances

Petrol charges may apply if out of a 10-15 mile radius

Due to the outbreak in strangles across a few places I’m putting my services on hold, this is because I do work on a yard myself where my own horse is stabled and although I always change and take the required precautions I do drive and I can’t change my car 😂 and therefor don’t want to increase the risk of spreading even if no one on your yard is positive.

Stay safe everyone and get in touch and I will still reply ! Of course people on the yard if you are still wanting any of my services like sheath cleaning I will be able to do that.
