Lovely to see such a good turn out and excellent fund raising for such a worthwhile cause

Ideally for this position, we are looking for a strong GP Vet with around 4 years+ experience. You need to be passionate about progressing your skills, and be confident dealing with complex cases.

Megan is our newest student nurse and will be starting her nursing qualification very soon. She’s been working with us for around a year now, firstly as work experience and then as a veterinary care assistant. We can’t wait to help her on the road to qualification 🐾
She’s here with lovely Tess who visited us for a dental procedure. Tartar build up is very common in all patients and can start as young as 3 years of age. If you’re worried about your pets dental health then please get in contact with the surgery.
Tess was a really good girl and you can see the lovely before and after shots of her teeth 🦷❤️

At DNA Vetcare we are very pleased to not only be able to offer a routine day-to-day vet service but also the more advanced surgery.
Our surgeon Eleni had a busy time last week, starting with fixing a nasty tibial fracture on little Gizmo.
During surgery a small plate was placed to help stabilise the fracture site, while the bone heals.
Gizmo surgery was a success and he is recovering well, all being well he will fully healed within a few months.
He’s not a fan of cuddles, but was happy to pose for a post-op picture with Eleni 🥰💚

As a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse at Streatham Hill Veterinary Surgery, you will be working along side multiple certificate holding Vets (Orthopaedics, Imaging, Neurology & Internal Medicine), a fantastic team of RVNs, highly trained VCAs, a fully committed customer care team (meaning no reception duties for you – allowing you to utilise those skills that you’ve dedicated so much time to gain), and an incredibly supportive Hospital Management team.

As HRVN, your duties will include day-to-day running of the floor and liaising with the senior management team, planning and improving strategies for performance on the floor, leading the development of the team of RVNs and VCAs, rota management, and most importantly - fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.

You'll play an integral part of our dedicated day team, providing compassionate care and support to patients in need. We are looking for someone with strong clinical skills and the ability to handle emergency situations with confidence. You must have excellent communication skills and teamworking abilities and have a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.

This position requires someone who already has previous experience as a Head RVN, or Senior RVN at hospital level.

Your average day here at Blackheath Vets will include a wide range of nursing tasks, but no two days are the same here, which gives you variety you are craving and leaves you feeling fulfilled whilst utilising your nursing skills to the highest level.

Excellent Eleonora….💚 Eleonora joined our Team in June 2023, and what an asset she has been! Eleonora graduated in 2020 from the University of Teramo in Italy and even studied in Spain and Finland during her degree! Harrison joined Team Briar 18 months ago after graduating from the University of Surrey School of Veterinary Medicine. Harrison enjoys all areas of general practice and has become a skilled surgeon over the past 18 months. He makes a real difference to the pets and owners who come to see him 🥰 Alongside our regular companion animals, Harrison also has a particular interest in exotic species from everything from rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, birds, tortoises, lizards and snakes to name a few. 🐢🐍🐰🐁🦎🐹
