It’s that magical time when Christmas trees start going up!

While decorating is exciting, let’s keep our pets safe around the festive centerpiece.

Here are some tips to ensure a pet-friendly Christmas tree:

🎄Secure Your Tree: Consider anchoring your tree to the wall or ceiling to prevent it from tipping over if curious paws get too close.

🎄Ornament Placement: Place delicate or breakable ornaments higher up, out of reach from pets. Avoid using tinsel, which can be harmful if ingested.

🎄No Edible Decorations: Keep chocolates, candy canes, or any food-based decorations off your tree—they’re a tempting but dangerous snack for pets.

🎄Cords & Lights: Secure electrical cords and keep them covered to prevent chewing. Use pet-safe LED lights that don’t overheat.

🐾Outdoor Time: Limit time outdoors during freezing weather, especially for pets with short fur. Always dry them off when they come back inside.

🐾Warm Clothing: Consider a jacket or sweater for dogs, especially smaller breeds or those with thin coats.
