This is Blossom. She went missing in August 2022 and her owners thought she was gone forever.

However, last week she was taken to a local rescue as a stray. They scanned her for a microchip and made contact with her Mum & Dad. She is now happily reunited with them at home.

Blossom’s owners wanted to share her story of how important it is to keep your pets details updated on the microchip register. As with dogs, it will soon be a legal requirement for all cats to be microchipped.

If you’d like to get your pet microchipped please contact us. We can also assist you to update the details associated with the microchip.

Hello everyone,

My name is Sophie and I am one of the Veterinary Nurses.

Over the last 12 months I have been unwell and have required treatment from the Haematology Department at Nottingham City Hospital.

Their care has been amazing and the team there have become a much valued group of people in my life and are really important to me. To show them some gratitude for all they have done and continue to do for myself and others, I am holding a raffle to raise much needed funds for the department.

Prizes included luxury pet hampers, a £50 garden centre voucher, a pork-pie making experience and much more!

If you’d like to purchase a ticket, please ask at reception.

They are £1 each or £5 for a book of 5 and all money raised will go directly to the Nottingham Hospitals Charity who will give the funds to the Haematology Department.

The raffle will be drawn on 30th September 2022 and winners will be contacted individually.

Thank you so so much and I will update you all with the total raised in the future.

Sophie 💗
