TESTIMONIAL TIME!

I have worked with Ella since 2016, initially as a rider whilst I completed my Masters course. I have worked closely with her and her horses to help keep them all working to their best ability and achieve their goals.

I look forward to future partnerships as she undertakes her Veterinary medicine degree!

Today I had the pleasure of seeing these beauties!

I have known these rising 4 year olds their whole lives, but never needed to do much with them as they have grown up.
They are now starting their journey into ridden work nice and slowly, and part of their education is having contact and handling by different professionals.

This is where I come in! This was their first physio handling session, we took our time and allowed them space when they needed it.
They both coped well with palpation and enjoyed their first massage!

It is so important to get the basics right and build positive foundations for the future.

You may have noticed I am also wearing my helmet for these 2: partly because they are used to being handled by humans in helmets, but also because we weren’t sure how they would respond so we felt it was a suitable approach. I do wonder whether this should be a norm for us all: horses are large unpredictable animals and there is no room for complacency, no matter how well you know the animal.
