Delivered these two lovelies to their new home today, they had Gus all to themselves.
Always lovely to have wonderful natured horses to transport, but felt a bit of a connection with this big girl 💕 she was so sweet, a little unsure about loading, but really wanting to connect. Both traveled like angels and seemed stoked with their new grassey digs 💕
Hope you all enjoy your new gorgeous home that has clearly had so much love from it's departing owners 🏡

I'm hoping someone is coming nth from Waitara/NP anywhere around the nth side of Te Kuiti...I'm trying to get some compressed bales of Lucerne hay a little closer to Akl for a rescue who have an urgent need...
Can't afford heaps but maybe if we could get 5 or so maybe 7 😉 or 8...there are some horses that would be truly grateful.
If anyone can help...maybe you are coming that way heading to equifest? 💕

I just drove "Blue " home today...long story short
I "sold" Blue just under a year ago but as the purchase has not been completed, I will now have it available at a lower price than last year (if sold in existing condition which has become a little "tired") if anyone is looking for a 6 horse "commercial" truck
Blue is a great little truck. Still runs like a dream. 6 big long horse bays lengthened for horses comfort and those on the larger side 👀. Takes a 19hh shire easily.
Used to be a race truck and I have had lots of work done over the 6 years or so that I was running it for Montello Horse Transport...regularly admired.
Done 860ish kms goes great though and will no doubt continue as trucks do with the occasional maintenance 😊

Some lowlife has helped themselves to our pony club trailer, can see in pic it is custom made for carrying poles, the sad part is that they used our gate code to achieve this which suggests it is a local person possibly in our horse community.They also purposely let out the grazers horses in the process who were thankfully found safe this morning.

Wounded again!! Thank God for my good friend Maree who helped me catch and load 3 difficult passengers this morning in the teaming rain! Grateful to Melanie yesterday whose ponies were a welcome pleasure to load and transport then presented me with yummy home baking 👌 so nice when I had spent the day being rained on 😆

Some days are hard work. Some horses are hard work. Sometimes my love for all of them is sorely tried ...but ultimately I love horses and that's why I keep doing it! Could do without broken bits though 😆
