Started for the love of my companion, Shadow, who gave me unconditional love for over 10 years. No o Dog boarding for up to 20 dogs.

Permanently closed.

They get all the tender loving care we can give them. The kennel is airconditioned & heated, has TV & cameras. We live on the property so there is 24 hour care. They have fresh water, bedding, fed twice a day,& plenty of lap time (for smaller dogs).

Unfortunately Shadow's Retreat had to close due to Covid. We are sorry for the inconvenience. We have moved to Old Fields WV and really miss everyone. If you would like to get in touch with us

This coronavirus is even affecting us. We have had numerous cancellations for Spring Break. I guess this is a good time to do repairs and maintenance. We wish everyone the best. We will get through this.

Summer is winding down. Make sure you get your reservation for the upcoming HOLIDAY season! I cannot believe it is only 5 months until Christmas!! LOL
