For those of you headed to the Houston Toy Club Weekend, please be sure and make your room reservations at the link below. The Houston Toy Club is still a little short on making their minimum room requirement for their price breaks to kick in (free ballrooms). People had trouble with the Hyatt reservation system and the front desk and the club wants to make sure it gets credit for all the rooms that are booked for the shows. There is no limit on the number of dogs in the rooms. Some people called the front desk and were told 1 or 2 dogs. That may be true for other bookings but not in the Toy Club block of rooms.

So if you haven’t made your reservation, please do so as soon as possible. Book your rooms using theHouston Toy Club's Specialty rates:

Update: We have Best of Breed Prize sponsors for all breeds except for Affenpinscher, Biewer Terrier, Chinese Crested, Havanese, Manchester Terrier Toy, and Miniature Pinscher. Thanks to all of our generous sponsors.

The Alamo Area Toy Dog Club is looking for trophy sponsors for our 2023 Toy Dog Show. Just $15 will sponsor a Best of Breed Trophy for the breed of your choice. English Toy Spaniels, Papillons, and Russian Toys are the only breeds with sponsors so far. Send us a message for additional information on how you can support our Toy Club's efforts to maintain a viable Conformation show. The information below has more information on what our Toy Show event offers this year!

Mark your calendars this year for 5 opportunities for toy breeds to earn championship points at the Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio, Tx:

1. Thursday, July 13th. The Bexar County Kennel Club will hold an All Breed Show.
2. Friday, July 14th, The Alamo Area Toy Dog Club will hold its 2023 show. It will include NOHS, breed, and group competition (Judges: Ms. Marge Calltharp and Mr. John Booth.) Prizes offered for Best of Breed and Group Prizes.
3. Friday, July 14th, The Greater Victoria Kennel Club will hold an All Breed Show.
4. Saturday, July 15th, The Bexar County Kennel Club will hold an All-Breed show.
5. Sunday, July 16th, The Greater Victoria Kennel Club will hold an All-Breed Show.

Papillons have an additional 2 opportunities on Saturday and Sunday when the Alamo Papillon Society holds 2 of its 4 Specialty Shows.
